Passive radon through sump pit or floor?

I would like to make our new construction home radon resistant. I am having difficulty finding a plumber with experience in this and the radon mitigation people don't do prevention work. We will have a sump pump. Should we just put a sealed lid on the sump pump and run PVC pipe out of it venting through the roof? Or should we install the PVC pipe through the concrete floor in a tee through the drain tile and vent that out through the roof (we'd still do the sealed sump lid). No one seems to be experts around here...

We run it out of sump pump container and seal the lid. All drain tile under basement floor and around perimeter is connected to sump pump container.
