Most websites you can't access the photos if you're offline. For color ideas, can you go to your local hardware store and pick up paint chips of colors you like? Then you can play with them to see what shades you like best and how they go together. Just remember that sometimes lighting in a room can change the way a color looks.

I'm a Certified installer for Trex decking. Trex Transcend is encapsulated board, with a finish that resists staining, scratches, mold and has a high definition wood grain surface. I don't know what you did to it or whoever worked on your house did something to it, but Transcend decking does not need staining or painting and the protective shell protects decking against fading. Trex Transcend and a few other Trex decking products like Trex Enhance, and Trex Select, they cannot be painted or stained. The only thing can be painted is Trex Transcend White Railings and you should only use light color paint. If you use dark colors, it will absorb heat and it will damage the surface and you can kiss your railings good bye. Also high quality fast drying primer should be used and you have to use Oil or Water based exterior paint and most importantly surface prep is the the key. When it comes to painting specialty surfaces like Trex Railings, hire a Pro to do the work. With that said, if you installed Trex yourself, you have to go to the store and have a Trex representative come out and check your deck. They will determine if loss of color fading was due because of negligence or not. If its a material defect, they will cover the material cost. If you had a Certified contractor do the work, they will cover material and labor. Call your contractor and he will get a Trex Rep to come out within a few days. Good luck

The choice of Laminate vs Painted vs Veneer would be how you would be using your kitchen and sometimes personal preference as well. 1. Laminate finishing in your kitchen would allow you to have a great choice of colours from woodgrain, pastel, gloss, etc. Laminates are also more resilient to scratching and wear. 2. Spray paint finishing depends on the type of colour you choose, will give the cabinet a real nice feel especially in a matt type white finish. Spray painted finishes do have a con with chipping and scratches in the long run. 3. veneer is made out of natural wood and if you are someone who likes the natural and warm finishing of a natural looking wood finish, this would be a good choice. Although veneer has a high tendency for scratches and marking, so you would need to have special care with it.

Quick run-down on the bathroom (not travels, no time) - The kitchen has a rather elegant sliding door with beveled glass panels. Painted white, since this was the original colour. GD's new bathroom has the doors I had picked earlier; i thought of polishing them but decided sprayed automobile paint (on a resin primer) would wear better. Especially since it is such a small bathroom, and she is so splashy. I have this finish in my kitchen and it has lasted 15 years now. A tad chipped here and there, but only needs a wipe down once a week. Same finish for the balcony doors, also split like the bathroom. We have a new wardrobe, a study table with built-in shelves, and a small chest of drawers for her odds and ends. I want to re-tile the tiny balcony, more as a little statement. Currently we are looking at Portuguese tiles, though I did think a mosaic with a funky cat might be nice. Let me see the costing. The room will be painted a neutral adobe, with bright white woodwork and an off-white ceiling. This means she can go wild with cushions and covers. Other changes in the flat; We have changed the glass in the master bedroom and living room from small cramped panes to a single pane for each section with a 1" bevel all round.
