Here's the explanation of how to know if you have room. Your total inches is 100. Assuming you have cabinet on each side, subtract 25.5 for each side (the depth of your countertops) and now you have 49" left. You need 33-48" on EACH side of the island. If you used a 12" deep cabinet for your island instead of the normal 24" depth, take the 49" and subtract 12 (but you will have some counter overhang) and you have 37" left. Divide 37 by 2 and this gives you only 18.5" of space on each side of your island - not nearly enough space to move around or to open doors/drawers/appliances.

I am building a BnB in Bhopal India, with two plunge pools , can i put over head LED lights instead of underwater lights in may pool how would it effect?? as may consultant says " if u put overhead LED light no hassles least maintenance" however my pool consultant suggest put lights underwater. Kindly suggest what to do? two pool sizes 20X 6.5 feets and second 8 X 4 feets plunge pools :-)

Good luck that is a very skinny lot for anything except a very skinny house you might be able to have a small yard at the back but I am not sure about a pool maybe a lap one along one side of the back yard if you did something like this but 3 storeys tall and the carport underneath the main entry somehow
