We fabricated it out of scraps from the facade. I really appreciate the (tacit) compliment though.

The desk really is incredible. I wish that we'd thought of this (we have aluminum flashing and corten steel siding). It's hard to find a modern looking desk that is still functional for a full computer setup.

I would look for something like this with a wood top and gold base. This is a console table but could be used as a desk and is narrow and longer then you typical desk and the height at 30" is typical for a desk.
