Hi, it's an extremely hard quartzite called Perla Venata but it looks just like Taj Mahal which is also a quartzite equallly as hard. I actually can't tell the difference between the 2 of them.

Sheenu, You can get LED Panel lights and get them installed with help from your carpenter and electrician. Carpenter will make holes in the loft panel and electrician can do the wiring accordingly. It looks great in Kitchen and quite functional too. Just ensure that the wires are properly ducted. Thanks, Nitin Cornerstone Designs, Bangalore.
