We’re torn about using Dinesen Douglas Fir. We love it - nothing else seems to get close to it aesthetically but it’s expensive so we’re so nervous of cracking - it’ll be over underfloor heating. We know about the weekly lye wash for the first year (and then monthly) which doesn’t sound too bad until you think about all the furniture moving. Would love to hear from anyone who has this flooring. Do they still love it. Do your clients love it a year later? Hope it’s not too cheeky to ask but we have to make a decision soon and are a bit stuck.
