I am posting this for a friend of mine.

My friend has a big eucalyptus kind of tree in her backyard which is taking up lots of space. She is planning to get rid of that as she has a very limited space for her veggies. Her gardener suggested that he would cut the tree as short as possible, and fill the trunk with poison. Now, she is concerned whether this will affect her edible plants(curry leaf plant(murraya koenigii), tomatoes, eggplant, chilli, spinach etc) very close to that. It will be great if u can throw in your suggestions..
