Is it iron or wood or both? You can paint it, antique it up. Do you go for anything with shine or shimmer? gold, copper, silver? A Cuckoo clock!!! We have had a cuckoo clock back home forever with really great travel memories.

Not sure if i would paint it white. Try an off white maybe, but i would keep the chair as is and try a mustard gold plain fabric for the upholstery and place a red cushion on the seat. We would help you with more colour ideas if there was a picture showing the rest of the interior where this chair is. red scatter
