Comments (3)Build a two story with a garage under the top story. It will have to be long and narrow lot is not wide. 4 bedrm s will be tight, looks like you only have rm for about 1200 sq ft incl garage. Or you could put front door on side behind garage and stairs inside to go up to bedrooms and bath rooms. Have a small bathroom downstairs. With living area and kitchen, with dining area....See MoreNeed help to design my master bathroom
Comments (5)I currently have the same problem! I wanted that but the tiler didn't do it. I saw it after the shower was finished tiling (when I got home from work). They told me it was too difficult to cut the porcelain tile in a triangle shape and install. I did some research and I can't find a product that can hold weight, even if it is just to shave my leg! I suppose I should have had a triangle corner with a base (that wasn't floating) but I think it is too late. Hopefully someone can tell both of us a better answer. Just realize this was posted July 2014....... where you able to solve the problem??????...See MoreNeed help on selecting tiles for bathroom both for floor and walls.
Comments (5)You can use natural stone like marble for floor but do not use granite for floor at all as it is very slippery when wet. As for tiles do not go for glazed vitrified tiles for the floor for the same reason. ( floor becomes slippery once wet and may cause mishap) Go for ceramic anti skid tiles that are specially meant for bathroom floor. For wall tiles you can use whatever you like and then decide over the matching anti skid floor tile/ marble. Double charged vitrified tiles are usually used for flooring in rest of the house....See MoreNeed help in modifying the floor plan
Comments (19)Suvarchala, I am presuming that you do not want the doors to face each other due to privacy concerns. If that's right you wouldn't also want the guest/visitors to go to a bath in one of your rooms. Have you considered that before dropping off a common bath from the plan. If your neighbour has a door facing yours then you can also think about doing a mirror image of what respected member suggested above. I.e. door on the pooja room corner instead of the guest room corner. Thanks, Nitin CORNERSTONE DESIGNS Bangalore...See Morekathyglidewell
