We have recently re-clad our 1970s beach house to remove asbestos & leaky roof. Now inside needs desperate help. All the existing blinds are rotten & have lace curtains!
Cant decide on white wooden/pvc venetians or romans. Like the idea of venetians as house is exposed to road and has northern light into living & main bedroom but worried about the rattling factor with a windy coastal area. Think the venetians would add interest and modernise. Big issue is main north facing window as one single blind would be 2.3m across which seems too wide to pull all the way up.
About to have all house painted internally in white as quite dark, small windows and new carpet in neutral beige with oak look vinyl in wet areas. (had to stick with this due to costs & difficulty with old flooring.
Any suggestions welcome !
