Need help for theme picking

Hi, I have a 300m * 100m rect. plot. Its in a hilly, seismic area. There is a river flowing 30 m below my plot. Mine happens to be on the edge of the cliff. The problem lies in choosing the building material for the house as it will decide the theme. I want it to be beige sandstone, thus exterior and interior can be given a castle theme. But the material might come disastrous during a quake. Please help me in picking the right material and also suggest some themes.

With a piece of land like that, you need way more than the help you can get on a design forum. You need structural engineers, architects and the like to advise you on these subjects as your life depends on it. If you can afford to build a home in a place like that, you can afford to pay to do it right.

Light Sheer Curtains will look good, do not forget to add a pelmet to cover the ugly rods . Either have wells stitched curtains or buy good ones which fall well. The beauty of a curtain is not only in the colour , but also the type of fabric and the stitching quality. Do not compromise on any of these. You can have a light 1/2" grey trim vertically on the ends of the curtains also, this will define the curtain space. The cushions can be silk plain ivory long cushions, ideally 16"x 12" . Do think of having a nice jute breathable rug again in a greyish ivory combination. A few good ethnic floor lamps will bring out the beauty in place. An extra tip would be to invest in good ceiling lighting
