Hi mrsahsan! Your staircase certainly looks lovely, someone did a great job on that cut string by the looks of it. Would you be able to send us a couple more photos, preferably of the side of the flight as well? And the Landing? Also, what sort of style is it that you are looking for? Is there anything that you currently like the look of? I'd recommend having a look through our Staircase Gallery, hopefully this will give you a little inspiration.

I have attached my first floor plan , actually the hall is now extended to 22*12 ft .my problem is the stairs that goes to second floor bedroom,as per plan is interfering in entrance of kitchen and is uncomfortable .so I would like to know if there is any other option available for stairs using less space in hall.there is also a 3 ft balcony which is added in front north side .

Hello Rahul, limiting to your query on granite - It is quite a beautiful, natural and hard material. For applications in kitchen, store and balcony they would do good. There are some points you should consider for granite application - - Granite usually occur in dark shades so consider the lighting in the area of application. - Ask the vendor for iron content in any natural stone for avoiding rust marks. - The process of application and polishing is cumbersome but thank god in India, craftsmen are easily available. - Do not go for a elaborate gloss polish to avoid skidding/slippery floors. - It is also advisable to re-polish/reseal them every 3-5 years. Thanks, Nitin CORNERSTONE DESIGNS, Bangalore.

Just because you want to use the space below the stairs, do not just add drawers or shelfs unless you reaalllyyy need it. I would suggest go for adding something green to your house. Its healthy by adding air purifying plants. These plants are nowadays available in most of the nurseries and moreover Green patch in the house gives a beautiful look to the house and is also good for eyes ( the green color). Below are few picture to motivate you for Green patch or Indoor garden.
