A soft, warm grey shade would look lovely, and can be as dark or light as you want. A warmer shade will work with the brown stained wood floor, and the grey will complement the black granite. You could have an undertone of green, blue or tan if you didn't want a pure grey. And it would look nice with any silver metal hardware, either polished or satin/brushed, so you could choose pewter, chrome or nickel. It would still work with white trim too.

Have to agree with both commenters. I would have to see the other blues before being able to really give a good opinion. Have you thought about at least mixing patterns for some visual interest? I have never been a "matchy matchy" person even when that was the style. What about taking a main blue and then accessorize get with variants of that base blue, I.e. deeper, brighter, more muted?

Not sure if i would paint it white. Try an off white maybe, but i would keep the chair as is and try a mustard gold plain fabric for the upholstery and place a red cushion on the seat. We would help you with more colour ideas if there was a picture showing the rest of the interior where this chair is. red scatter
