Need help for laminate joint
Comments (29)Thanks Pragati, it looked to me like some sort of high polished quartz stone and if this was the case there would be a way to hide these joints by filling them with an appropriate material and polish them thereafter. So I guess, the framing-idea with the LED-Strips which pollyannagal mentioned would be a good option. You could also tape some sort of accent-tape over the joints or even just LED-Strips to hide these ugly joints. Comments (3)What do you need to store in the kitchen proper? You already have crockery storage and food storage elsewhere. Just tally what you actually need to store and provide space for that. You may not need all built-in cabinets; shelves, hooks, or pegboards may do as well. And yes, the utility room is very tight....it look like just a 24 in (600 mm) wide passage? I'd scrap the sink rather than squeeze it in so tight. Do you really need separate spaces for utility, kitchen and store? If you combined these all and planned them carefully, you could have a large, very functional kitchen, at least by US standards. (Not being familiar with exact kitchen norms in India, I can't fully comment on the tradeoffs.)...See Moreplease suggest me how to decorate the top of kitchen cabinets..
Comments (9)this is looking good. finally someone on houzz has listened! Thank you. I would leave it as it is since any items you place up there needs to be maintained and that is one more task we would be adding to the lady of the houzz. but if you are still wanting to add something for that first client impression may be few large glass pickle jars or just two of three colourful glass sculptures. as would perhaps know - less is more in modern design....See MorePainting over laminate
Comments (1)Hi Pawan. Painting on laminate is an easy process. There is no special paint required. One can easily paint over laminate with Oil paint. Use a Satin finish Oil paint to avoid the gloss. However if the furniture is not made in plywood, & made of Particle board, MDF or engineered wood, it is not advisable to do any finish over it as its susceptibility to expansion and discoloration from moisture absorption.
