As per Vasu it should be in East or NorthEast of the flat area & while you pray you should face towards East. occupying foyer area is good but need to divert the flow to avoid walking with footwear in front of pooja room, so need to change the entry which I think difficult from Prestige as they wouldn't accept that change The other option is at Wash Basin However you should hire a professional so that you get right & full guidance.
