NextGen Logs

NextGen Logs is a family-owned business and operates in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. In 1989, Jim and Bill Bord founded Bord Masonry. Bord Masonry built homes and commercial buildings throughout Central Wisconsin and they prided themselves on unique stone and brick designs. Some types of the stone and brick were hard to find locally, so Bord Masonry started manufacturing their own out of concrete. The brothers realized quickly that they could make any exterior more durable by making it out of concrete. In 2013, the next generation of log homes began. Jim and Bill designed a (patent-pending) concrete log that looks real, but does not require the maintenance of real wood siding. Today, you can see NextGen Logs in home shows throughout the Midwest!
