Rusch Projects

I engaged Rusch Projects to work on our dream home in SW Calgary. Philip and Oliver took ownership of the project and executed as their own property. They were always quick to respond and included every request that was possible to make the home look better. The finished quality & workmanship is the best I have seen. Even though, I was out of town throughout the construction, their personal touch made the entire project easy going and stress free for me. They were quick to understand my taste and requirements and came up with multiple options to meet my stringent standards and budget requirements. Most of our communication was through email and texting and it went perfectly well as I was in the loop at every stage of the selection and was well informed before putting it in place. It was a pleasure working with them and would recommend them to anyone. I am an investor and looking forward to build more properties with them once market rebounds.

We had previously worked with Phillip and were confident that our renovations would be completed with the high level of quality that we expected. Rusch Projects did an excellent job and their attention to detail was exceptional. Any concerns were dealt with promptly and Phillip, Oliver and Carl offered effective solutions in order to ensure that our project progressed as smoothly as possible. The tradespeople were professional, courteous and spent the time to make certain that we were satisfied with all aspects of construction. The care and integrity with which Rusch Projects completed our renovation was much appreciated. We have recommended Rusch Projects to family and friends and will always do so.

Rusch cares about your house budget and quality of work as if they were going to live in and pay for it. They know the status of every item and they are timely communicators. They are completely honest with every aspect of the job. Phillip is very technically strong and ensures the plans for the house will work properly with all of the infrastructure, i.e. he will ensure heat flow will compensate for things like cantilevered areas. Oliver is incredibly organized and ensures all details are tracked and completed. The house was on time, on budget. We are happily choosing to use them for another house.

We had a great experience dealing with Rusch Projects. Oliver and Phillip are both extremely approachable and professional. They do very high quality work, and were commonly on-site making sure that contracted work was being completed to their standard. (That being said, the contractors they work with were all very professional, conscientious, and pleasant to deal with!). For a new build, they managed to make the process as stress-free as possible. This was mainly due to their constant communication throughout every phase, from design, to build, to move-in. In the design phase, they helped us keep our project realistic budget-wise while still accommodating our overall vision and often suggesting improvements! During the build, they always kept us in the loop in terms of schedule, delays, milestones etc. After moving in, they've been an e-mail of text away for any inevitable new-house questions. Overall, a great experience working with these guys!

I can't say enough about Phillip and Oliver Rusch from Rusch Projects. This father and son team provided us with great ideas, the best tradesmen and excellent work when we had some exterior work done on our house. They were extremely professional and I was always impressed by their considerable knowledge. They worked well with our architect & they always showed up on time for meetings. Rusch Projects also fixed many issues we had with a previous interior renovation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rusch to anyone building or renovation. We would hire them again.

We asked for our basement development to be consistent with the main floor of the house. Attention to even the smallest detail was superb. We would highly recommend Rusch Projects to anyone considering a renovation or new build.

We have worked for Rusch Projects and I have to say...they are a pleasure to work for and the renovation work they do is outstanding. The last renovation we worked on for them was on Somme Avenue in Calgary. They did the heavy lifting and we did the exterior siding repairs. The end result looks great. I dealt with Phillip Rusch. He was very easy to work for and made every effort to accommodate our requirements. I look forward to working with Phillip and Rusch Projects again.

Rush Projects developed the basement in my new house. Rush Projects took into account what we want to have in the basement, and provided suggestions to have a better lay out. They worked to have everything ready from the beginning to the end of the work. The development was done within the schedule provided from the beginning, the cost was in the range we requested. The customer service very professional and kind. I have had received very good comments about the work done in the basement. I highly recommend Rush Projects, they service and work is high quality.

Rusch Projects was originally recommended to us for a new build. We took some time before opting to buy a home with a clear reno project goal and Rusch Projects did not hesitate to take the project on- and did not fail to exceed our expectations. The big picture was understood, while the small details were never lost from sight. Attention to detail (e.g. noting the small but significant impact of suggestions / ideas), hands on collaboration (e.g. teamthink for problem solving and idea generation- experience and knowledge helped us to see the impact of our suggestions / ideas), superb customer service (e.g. easily accessible), flexibility (e.g. openness to change), realistic budget (e.g. noted budget numbers were in line with realistic costs, allowing us to up-spend where we chose to) were key. Hi Phillip, Oliver & Susan, I just wanted to send you a quick email and let you know how pleased I am that our good old house got repaired with tender loving care with attention to detail that it deserved. Graham is a patient and hard working fellow - and we are so pleased with his work. Under your watchful eye and with your attention to details and keeping to the original plan and scope the project proceeded along nicely. We wanted it to be fixed and voila, with a little TLC it is back in business. The water is staying out! I also wanted to comment that your customer service is superb! I very much enjoyed that Oliver or Phillip, and sometimes both, could meet with me at various stages and discuss the project, the plan, and the progress. There were no ugly surprises and all the details were quietly and efficiently handled. The invoices were timely and with adequate back up to explain and justify all labour and material expenses. For all of this - we are very thankful. When we are ready to do the next step (like the back step, and possibly new kitchen appliances and slight modifications to accommodate same) we will definitely be calling Rusch! I had the opportunity to work with Phillip and his team for the construction of my home. The process went very smoothly and the project was completed several months ahead of schedule.
