Our family has worked with Kimberly many times over the years, so when my husband and I needed help selecting finishes for our large kitchen renovation and then decorating our lovely new kitchen, she was our first call. Kimberly is extremely professional, and she brings creativity to each project while respecting the tastes and preferences of each individual client. Her enthusiasm carried us through those tough decorating decisions, and we are extremely pleased with the end results. This was our biggest project with Kimberly yet, and we can't wait to get started on the next one!

Kimberly was referred to us by our builder. We began a relationship last July when we were deciding on finishes for our lake house at Keowee. Kimberly was with us every step of the way. She helped us with paint colors, cabinets, counter tops, lightning, fixtures, accessories and almost every single piece of furniture in the house (near the end, I wouldn't buy anything without sending her a picture). She was readily available when we needed questions answered and was always very responsive. I ordered a lot of accessories and bedding online, with Kimberly's approval :) and they all looked great - I didn't have to return anything. She spent several days with us selecting furniture and the day we moved in, she was there to help, was accessorizing and making our house feel like a home. Kimberly is a delight to work with and absolutely fantastic with color! I would recommend her for any project without hesitation. In addition to being our interior decorator, she became our friend!

We started our relationship with Kimberly of KDH designs in January of 2015. This was my husband and I's first home together and our furniture to date was a combination of family pieces, a few pieces from college (yikes!) and a piece or two that we bought together, but for the most part the house was a blank slate. We told Kimberly our vision for the house and from day one impressed us in so many more ways than just her eye for detail and style. She is the most reliable and prompt professional that we may have ever worked with and follows through on everything that she says. She consistently stays mindful of our budget, which we greatly appreciate. Friends and family are always excited to visit our home to see what new piece Kimberly has found! One of the highest compliments has to come from people requesting her contact information after visiting our house as they want this dream to happen in their own home!

My wife and I had been planning a major remodel of our kitchen and great room for several years. Once we were ready, we needed to find an interior designer to help with the remodel. We have known Kimberly for many years and had received excellent feedback on her work. Since we are located in the Lake Norman Area in North Carolina, we were initially concerned with Kimberly not being local. These concerns quickly faded once we started working with Kimberly. Kimberly’s energy is contagious and her passion and love of interior design is undeniable making the process fun and exciting. Kimberly visited us regularly and communicated via email or by phone when needed. Kimberly was very professional and asked good questions to understand our style and tastes. Kimberly also helped push us outside of our comfort zone when needed. The end result was our dream kitchen and great room. We have received wonderful feedback from friends and family. We will definitely use Kimberly's services for our next project.

Working with Kimberly has been wonderful! She made a potentially stressful and overwhelming project, fun and exciting. Kimberly is a true talent within the Interior Design Market. From day 1 she guided us through the process, all-the-while, incorporating our ideas. Kimberley truly helped us bring our visions to reality.

Kimberly came to help us with paint color and furniture/lighting purchase/floor-plan ideas for two difficult spaces in our new home. We hired her for ideas only, not implementation, so the fact that we haven't completed her recommendations yet is our fault, not hers. The painter comes in a few weeks and we are still working on purchasing the rest of the pieces needed to complete the spaces, so this review is based more on Kimberly's professionalism and ideas rather than the finished products. Kimberly was very professional in getting back to us promptly, both to arrange consultation and to send paint color ideas and floor-plan sketches. We are looking forward to seeing the finished results!

A number of years ago we became aquatinted with Kimberly while searching for a style that worked in our busy home. Immediately we were impressed by by her desire to understand our wants and needs. Not only was she generous with her time and attention, she asked good questions, offered options and kept to our budget. We never forgot Kimberly and now that we're building a new home we never considered calling anyone else. Even during the design stage with the builder she offered excellent advice about furniture placement for traffic flow and offered suggestions for cabinet colors and styles.
