About Us

Hardwood Design Custom Cabinets has been providing the Inland Empire with high-end cabinets with high quality wood craftsmanship for over 18 years. All of our cabinets are custom designed, constructed with the finest materials offered in the industry, and built to fit your particular needs. The business is owned and operated by Bob Pakula, a resident of the Chino Hills area. Bob's wife Diane handles the computer designed cabinet drawings and business office management. Our Showroom Hardwood Design Custom Cabinets, located at 13425 Benson Avenue in Chino, has a 6400 square foot facility that includes a well-stocked showroom. Our office and showroom hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday. After hours from 3:30pm to 5:00pm and on Saturday are also available by appointment. One-Stop Shopping For our customers' convenience, we offer a one-stop shopping experience with the help of our partner companies. Through our partners we can offer electrical professionals to place outlets or relocate wiring, audio-video specialists for your home entertainment needs, counter-top professionals for granite or corion, flooring professionals for marble tiling, wood, or carpeting, and construction professionals to help remodel anything from a single room to your whole house.

Hardwood Design Custom Cabinets designed for me a brand new kitchen. The staff were very patient and went over every detail with me. If there was a change to be made they we more that helpful with the change. They guided me through the process to help me make the right decisiions. Once I picked out the color and style of cabinets they began to build. I had no idea it was going to look as beautiful as it does now. All my guests love the design and cabinetry. They say it looks like furniture. And it does. The staff spent time helping me pick out the hardware. As I knew they had experience and had witnessed the end appearance of some of the hardware, it made it that much easier for me. They worked with the other subs that I had participating in my renovation. Very easy going and professional. They were very reliable and hardworking. They were able to get the job done in the time they estimated. I would highly recommend this company to anyone undertaking such a project. They made it enjoyable.

we would highly recommend Hardwood Design , what ever the size project you have they will treat you like royalty . Incredible service ,wonderful input and unbeatable workmanship . We love our new kitchen and would not hesitate to call on Hardwood Design for any future projects . In fact after our kitchen was finished we decided to add a moveable cart which Bob designed for our needs and matched the cabinetry we have , it looks smashing .

We have used Hardwood Design a number of times since 2009. We remodeled our previous home in Chino Hills which Bob and his crew replaced everything including bathroom vanities, linen cabinets, entertainment cabinet, computer center, library, bar, fireplace mantel and a beautiful gourmet kitchen. I even had him build my bedroom furniture! The quality and workmanship kept us going back. Designing has been a breeze and working with Bob and Diane is always a pleasure. Recently, we purchased a vacation home in Palm Desert and looked at IKEA and Cabinets to Go to update our kitchen. However, the quality and overall look did not measure up to the custom work Bob designs. He is currently working on remodeling our mid-century modern kitchen and will be installing sometime this month. We highly recommend their services. Darryl & Valerie

Cabinets are beautiful and the quaily is something you have to see. Sooo much better than anything else we concidered. Bob guided me through the chooses that we're best for my setting but listened to what I wanted also. His advice kept me from make long term mistakes. The cabinets installed for almost a year now and I'm even happier. I just dust the cabinets weekly to keep them looking good. I though the would need a good cleaning but after wipping with a damp cloth they look like new.

Bob and his staff at Hardwood Designs designed, fabricated and installed a custom dining romm built-in based upon concept drawings that I provided. The overall quality of construction, finish and installation was very high. The job was completed in a timely fashion and at a fair price for a full custom cabinet design. I will use Hardwood Designs again in the future.
