Brad and Mike Wachs are about 75% of the way through our home build, and we could not be happier. Three things distinguish them - - quality, value add, and trust. First, they build an exceptionally high quality home and only work with subs who are willing to adhere to their standards. Their attention to detail is great. Second, they continually add value along the way. We do not live in the area, and only go to Tucson periodically to check out the progress. We totally trust, and have seen, Brad and Mike make smart decisions on our behalf. They are not afraid to make suggestions where the outcome is higher quality or better design or function. Mike Wachs built our house and we couldn't be more pleased. We looked for a long time at used houses. Every time we saw a house we liked, I asked the real estate agent who built it. The answer was usually Mike Wachs. When we finally decided to build a house, we naturally picked Mike. Since we lived in Maryland at the time, we couldn't be in Tucson to oversee each and every detail and relied completely on Mike to built a high quality house. We were more than satisfied. He had captured the feeling that we had described to him. Additionally, there so many innovative things that he had incorporated during construction that added to the quality of the home. Most importantly, we discussed what we wanted as the plans were developed, made no changes and the cost was exactly as agreed. When we arrived to move in, the house was spotless, including the garage. Of all of the houses that we have had built, this was by far the least stressful......even enjoyable. Now that we have lived in our home for a number of years we appriciate the value of Mike's approach to constrution. We have a wonderful home.

Wachs Construction, one of the finest home builders in Tucson, has built two homes for us (1983 and 2004). They have been thoughtfully designed and soundly constructed, with great attention to detail and uncompromising quality. Block construction is rare in Arizona, but Mike insists upon it because it provides such a sturdy foundation for the many quality features that come standard with Mike's homes. Adding to the feeling of security are the airtight Pella windows, which shield the home from the sounds of wind and rain and keep out the heat and the cold. Mike uses only high quality materials, providing ample allowances and high-end choices, like Talavera stone, Cantera fireplaces, woodworking, 8' solid core doors, fixtures, flooring and impressive cabinetry. Wachs Construction builds homes that are impressive, comfortable and satisfying, homes that invite you to remain in them for many, happy years.

Mike Wachs built an all masonry Santa Fe style house for us in Tucson in 2002. The house is perfect in every detail. The workmanship is outstanding with absolutely no problems to date.
