I was impressed with the enthusiastic attitude Jeni and Alex brought to our project. They were very professional, always on schedule with any commitments, very easy to work with and respectful of our wishes and ideas, making every effort to accommodate them and were painstaking in their research of all possibilities. Our contractor was unfamiliar to them but they soon became a great working team, with our contractor commenting to me that they were the most organized planners that he had worked with. Completion of our project has been delayed due to having to wait for one of the tiles so it is not possible to submit photos.

Jeni & Alex completely transformed my home! I first worked with Jeni when we remodeled our home in 2011. She helped us pick out cabinetry, tile, back splash design, and paint colors. When it came time to think about interior decorating, there was only one person my husband and I trusted - Jeni. I have always been afraid to do anything for fear of messing up. First, Jeni and Alex worked with me to redesign my sons' rooms into playful boys' rooms with murals, pillows, shelves, art work and other accents. The boys now love their rooms! We then turned to the kitchen adding new cabinet hardware and bar stools, and the family room with a beautiful piece of artwork over our couch and art gallery featuring the boys' artwork. Jeni and Alex also redesigned our living room and dining room with a completely new color palette. They picked out a new rug, artwork, pillows, and decor for the fireplace mantel and coffee table. The room is stunning! It is such a wonderful feeling to show off our home to friends and family. What I love about Jeni and Alex is that they are able to take my ideas and transform them into something amazing. I can't figure out how they do it! They are professional, creative, thorough, and a lot of fun to work with. An added bonus - they are mindful of my budget. Next on my list is 2 bathroom remodels and the master bedroom. I can't wait!

This firm was hired by the customer but with all the decorators I have worked with These people have it together. They understand what it takes to do some of the designs they come up with.

I started working with Dettaglio Design to update an 18 year old house. The original focus was on a complete redo of the master bath, converting the living room / dining room into a great room and converting the family room into a formal dining room. The project expanded to include the rest of the house except for the guest bed rooms. Jeni and Alex at Dettaglio worked to show me lot of options and ideas and continually refined the plan as we worked through the process. They were very good in helping me articulate what I was looking for, providing a variety of ideas and steering me away from some of my worse ideas. The end result of the design phase was a detailed set of plans that the builder could use to price, plan and execute the construction. The time and effort that Dettaglio put into the design phase paid big dividends with a construction process that went much more smoothly than expected. In the three months that we were under construction, Jeni and Alex worked on the finishing details including colorization, wall coverings, furnishings and window treatments. Jeni and Alex have been very pro-active throughout the process. They monitored the progress of construction and worked closely with the contractor to address any issues or questions that arose on site. They coordinated specific aspects of the job with specialized sub-contractors and vendors and oversaw the delivery and installation of the furniture and fixtures not supplied by the contractor. The final product is one with which I am very satisfied and that certainly exceeded my expectations.

The team at Dettaglio has been great to deal with. We wanted to develop a master plan before starting a major remodel. They listened, and really worked to determine a plan that worked within our style and financial goals. We will definitely be using them again on our next project!

I was nearing the finish line of remodeling a 5000 sq. ft community clubhouse when I realized I needed serious help selecting the furniture and decorating the space. I was referred to Dettaglio by a colleague and hiring them was an excellent decision. The staff from Dettaglio worked with me my community management to select the right furnishings and handled all of the ordering and follow up. I found this group to be extremely cost competitive and incredibly responsive.

We hired Dettaglio Interior Design to design a functional, durable, real-life kitchen remodel on a real-life budget for our busy young family with 3 high-energy boys and lots of pets. We were looking for someone to do the heavy-lifting for us, to consider the details, to bring to the table everything we weren't thinking of, and to assist us in executing the project with minimal involvement on our part. Alex and Jeni were quick to understand our visions and design preferences and saved us inordinate time in choosing materials, selecting products, and having a cohesive look. They were readily available for meetings and emergency decision-making when the contractors required it. They were able to balance design with the even more important real-life functionality of our busy lives and busy kitchen. This project was done a budget and Alex and Jeni were on target while still incorporating many custom-looking options and details.
