Salt Architecture

We could not imagine working with a more professional architect. From first concept meeting until completion, Dylan understood our wants. He has lived and designed in amazing, sophisticated, beautiful areas, so he naturally just offers exquisite concepts.. it's what he knows and lives. He has an incredible patience and ability to translate and deal with all skill levels to achieve the highest results. He placed our home on a 6 acre lot in exactly the perfect location and he is an expert in maximizing light and making certain each room in our home has incredible light . There was not one contractor or person who looked at our plans without admiration for the detail and knowledge that Dylan communicated in each drawing. Communication is so important in home building to assure that all parties know the goal and how to do the work. He was accessible throughout the entire project- and again, so patient in making sure everyone knew how to execute his incredible ideas. We hired him based on respect for his previous projects, even though he lives across the country from us. We can not imagine attempting any future build or design without Dylan Henderson being involved.

We designed and built our home with Dylan. He is a remarkable architect and very creative. More importantly, Dylan is realistic and practical and makes the process of bringing a concept to completion a pleasure. Our ideas and suggestions, no matter how trivial, were treated with respect-- rare when working with architects. To survive the construction process, one needs a sense of humor, and we had a ball. Dylan deserves the highest praise.

Dylan designed our home in Telluride, Colorado. We were more than pleased with his architectural vision for a modern mountain home, while adhering to the village and the home owners association's guidelines. My husband and I felt that Dylan took pride in the high quality of his work and his attention to detail. He also provided a very personalized approach to designing our second home. He was very enjoyable to work with and helped us realize a dream. We would certainly recommend him to others who desire a quality design experience.

We hired SALT to redo our highly dilapidated townhouse in Brooklyn. Dylan worked through our wish list and our budget and delivered exactly what we wanted and then some. We had no idea about the whole process going into this, and he was super helpful (especially since he understands the contractor side of things) with hand holding and getting us through it.
