Holmes Fine Gardens did two big gardens for us and we love how they turned out! The choice of plants was elevated, visually pleasing, and fit our design aesthetic. We love the layout and the flow of the gardens. Holmes Fine Gardens really chose the right plants for the right location and conditions. They even included stones in our landscaping design in the form of a cozy sitting spot and a stone-step walkway. Their staff is very professional and planting quality is top-notch. I would definitely recommend it to our friends.

I had a wide variety of work done on my property which included tree removal, brush clearing including invasive plants and some garden design work. Dan was able to offer me alternative suggestions as to what could be done and them made sure the work was done professionally and on time. My yard has a total new look.

Holmes Fine Gardens has been designing and maintaining our gardens for 15 years at Foxglove Cottage. Dan Holmes and his expert crew of property managers and gardeners started with an ordinary looking piece of woodland property and turned it into a dream-like fantasy that takes our breath away. There is a circular motif which runs throughout the landscaping with with curved stone paths leading to rock gardens, perennial gardens which are loaded with flowering vines, shrubs and garden flowers so that we have blooms from spring to fall every year.. The property is on lakefront and when we first came to iive here, Dan doubled our lakefront footage by clearing away the woods that were blocking our view of the lake and created beautiful continuations of our existing lakefront gardens. Additionally, the crew that work on our property are extremely pleassant, attentive and talented gardeners.
