Tackling my first major remodeling project, I contacted Sandy on the basis on some of her work posted on various websites. I am truly delighted with the time we spent and the value received from her two hour consultation. Based on pictures I sent in advance, Sandy arrived very prepared, ideas in hand, AND also took time to understand my vision and preferences. In a short amount of time, I was left a suggested color palette, furniture layout scheme and lighting changes. Don't hesitate to involve Sandy in your projects! Even if you do have strong preferences as we did - that's okay. Sandy will open up your thinking to additional and creative design ideas for your consideration.

Sandra Alger was hired to to help with placement of furniture and cabinets, consult on lighting choices, choose paint colors, and to bring ideas of how to lighten up my kitchen area. She was energetic and very friendly making my experience in redesigning my kitchen joyful and inspiring. She also gave me suggestions on furniture placement in adjoining rooms so the flow would be more functional. Sandra wasted no time with suggestions and used every last minute of her 2 hour consult. I would love to have her back again for future projects and would highly recommend her to others.

I had Sandy stop over to help with my downstairs bedroom and family room. She gave me some terrific ideas for paint color and rearrange furniture to make those room look great!

I recently sold my home on Long Island and moved to what had been my second home on the Cape. Converting a vacation home to a full-time residence can be a daunting experience. We hired Sandra to help us pick paint for our new condo. She was on time, her fees were reasonable, and she had lots of great ideas! We were very pleased and look forward to working with her again.

Last year I had downsized from a four bedroom home to a two bedroom condo. To avoid some costly "mistakes" (as I'd made in the past) I felt professional advice was necessary. My project was redecorating a combined living and dining area. I called Sandra, her fee was very reasonable, and we set up a consultation. (I'd never worked with a decorator before and was curious to see what the process was like). She arrived promptly, and, we began to formulate a plan based on my limited budget. My inclination was to work with the existing wall color, dining set and fixture. I would choose a rug, seating, window treatments and decor. She asked if I was willing to change the wall color, and, since I had painted it a year ago I didn't want to repaint. Sandra was full of energy and enthusiasm and those first few hours flew by. So, with a fresh perspective, and sense of direction I felt confident moving ahead. I had also decided to repaint the room in a color she recommended. What a difference! The room has been TRANSFORMED! So cozy and elegant. She has offered a multitude of resources and ideas for my consideration. This has been a most satisfying start. The experience has been so exciting; I'm looking forward to finishing and moving on to the next room!

My experience with Sandra was pleasant and very helpful. I expected to be asked questions regarding my lifestyle and my preferences regarding color. Both these expectations were met. I am very excited to share with you my positive experiences working with Sandra Alger, Certified Interior Designer. Recently, I hired Sandra to work with me on two new listings. First impressions are so important. Sandra was able to convey, "The way you live in your home and the way we market your home are two different things." The hours we spent at the homes together were very productive, just by relocating and adding accessories, we were able to enhance the space. The homeowners were very happy and loved the end result. Sandra presented a written summation to both the seller and me and I look forward to working with Sandra again.

I was complimented when Sandra asked for my input on a new construction project she was doing. Her design scheme was right on, as usual, and I had the opportunity to see her ideas implemented. The final result was a home with a warm neutral backdrop and stunning accents. The showcase room was the top floor lounge where unadorned windows became a frame for the magnificent ocean views.

Sandy was very thorough in finding out my likes and dislikes and did a terrific job advising me on color schemes to paint the outside of my beach house in Florida. I was extremely satisfied with the end result which gave my house a cheerful and distinctive look. Sandy also helped me make the final decision on the selection of glass tile for the back splash in my kitchen. I am constantly complimented on how wonderful my kitchen looks.

Sandra has used our glass tiles in a couple projects, and the results have been absolutely beautiful. Her creative design ideas are truly inspirational - we've even used some photos of her projects to show potential clients how much a glass tile backsplash can change the look of a kitchen.

We hired Sandra to help with decorating ideas, paint colors, granite and lighting choices to help update a house we recently purchased. She had great ideas and ways to save money and get the look we wanted which we really appreciated. Sandra came with me to the granite place and looked at slabs so we could narrow down choices that would go in my kitchen. I appreciated her responding to my emails and sending me links to products she thought I would like.
