CERTAPRO PAINTERS - Needham

CertaPro painters of Needham were terrific to work with. They repaired the shingles, wood work, vents on my house and painted the exterior shingles, trim, and rain gutters. They answered all of my questions and gave me different options to meet my budget. The painters were terrific! Very detailed, thorough in their work and did an overall amazing job. I appreciated how much they communicated with me, how they took care of the surrounding area and just did a fantastic job. I’ve gotten tons of compliments from my neighbors on the house! I would highly recommend them

Erik and the Certapro team did a great job painting our home. We went through multiple iterations of decisions on paint selections and the team was easy to work with and communicate with while we were out of state. The result also looked just as we hoped.

The house needed a thorough scraping, sanding and power washing before being repainted. There were some rotten boards that CertaPro agreed to repair or replace as needed, using factory pre-primed boards. All of this was clearly written into our contract with them, but most of it wasn't done. The front of the house was mostly well-prepped, but the other sides of the house were not adequately scraped or sanded and, in some cases, not scraped or sanded at all. In several sections, rotten wood was painted over instead of repaired or replaced. They also painted 10 windows shut, broke one storm window, and reinstalled two storm windows backwards so they could not be opened from the inside. After much arguing via email, they agreed to replacing the rotten wood as per our contract, but installed raw boards, not pre-primed, and not enough paint was applied, so the paint job looks uneven. The paint was cracking and flaking off within days of the job's completion, and popping and peeling off in patches less than six months later. The franchise owner was dismissive of our concerns. He eventually agreed to send a crew over to address some of the issues, but then delayed for nearly six more months until the weather conditions became unfavorable for painting. The problems still have not been addressed, and the franchise owner and the national representative are not responding to emails.

Steve and CertaPro Painters were fantastic. They were on time, did an excellent job, even did more than I asked, with extra coats on the deck because the paint was being absorbed. The indoor and outdoor work was fantastic. They were clean, very courteous, and thorough. I would hire them back anytime and recommend them to my family and friends.

I hired CertaPro to paint the entire outside of my house, including the siding and trim, and also to perform some carpentry that was needed before the painting could be done, such as replacing some rotting trim. All the work was done properly, and I found them very eager to ensure that I was happy with the work. After the first round, we went through the job and I pointed out a few areas that needed more work (such as one piece of trim that I thought was in bad shape and should have been replaced, some areas that had been missed, etc.), Everything was promptly taken care of, including replacing the trim. Their price was quite reasonable - significantly lower then the other quote I got.
