Tim and his crew finished the basement of my 1959 home. The completed job was beautiful. The walls were sheet-rocked without a seam showing. The completed basement now has two bedrooms and bath. Each bedroom has a large egress window that looks really nice with a stamped cement window well. There is also a family room with a fireplace insert and new tiled hearth. Tim needed to raise the landing on the stairs so people would not bump their heads. The landing works well. Tim knows what he is doing and his crew are really nice guys. You won't be disappointed!

Carlton Builders expanded our dining room. Project included adding new footing and foundation, new sub-flooring, removing an external wall, thinning another wall from 6 inch studs to 4 inch studs, changing the roof line, adding new windows and creating a tray ceiling. The previous kitchen window was converted to a pass-through. Trim and flooring was matched to existing materials. They were great to work with and did a beautiful job!

Carlton Builders completed our mountain home late summer. We love it and have already spent wonderful hours with family and friends enjoying the gorgeous views, the spacious loft bedrooms, the magnificent open kitchen and outdoors as well! The project took a long time by our expectations, but we realize what a large undertaking it was once completed. The craftsmanship is top of the line, the materials chosen with skill and originality, the flow of the work smooth in transition. We are so proud to be a client of Carlton Builders!

Tim and his crew rebuilt the roof and supporting internal structure on our 100+ year old barn. It required using Timber Engineering Shear Plates, Shear Rings and lots of bolts and welded connections designed and fabricated to meet the existing parts. The barn is 60 ft X 60 ft and has a 40 ft peak. Tim and his crew did a wonderful job of taking off and replacing with new designs and materials all of the structural and sheath materials. It took 2 years due to his construction schedule and our funding. Our fear of course was bad fall and winter weather and the possibility of a large wind coming up and destroying the building while is was open to the elements. That did not happen He and is staff did a wonderful job. I would recommend him to anybody considering this type of rather complicated project.

I have worked with Tim at Carlton Builders on two large remodel projects on a 100 year old house Moscow, ID. First project was in 2011 and the second was in 2015. Carlton Builders made it easy to work with them on every single detail you can imagine, which was important to me since I live in Boise and could no be on site to talk one on one. From the budgeting phase through the proposal and eventual change orders I asked for, this company was professional and on time! I stress on time because with that old of a house there is and was bound to be unforeseen issues once you start tearing into the project.

Carlton Builders repainted the exterior of our home and they also replaced some of the badly worn siding. We also had them replace four large picture windows. The workmanship was excellent! Unfortunately the siding oozed sap under the paint and the paint bubbled. Carlton Builders completely replaced the defective siding, upgrading to a better product and repainting, totally standing behind their guarantee. This is an outstanding company to do business with.

Carlton Builders did a superb job residing our home. They removed all of the vinyl siding and replaced it with Hardiplank, a cement fiber hard faced siding that will endure for years. The crew was very skilled and had the tools and work ethic needed to restore our Victorian to it's former glory.

We contracted with Carlton Builders to replace all windows throughout the house, build storage sheds, completely remodel the laundry room, replace/repair a steam shower and paint the entire house. They did an excellent job! They completed the jobs on time and their workmanship was of the highest quality. They were prompt, polite, and reasonably priced. We were completely satisfied with the results and would definitely recommend Carlton Builders to others!

Carlton Builders created a stunning kitchen for my family. The 1000 sq. ft. kitchen remodel included a complete tear out of the old space, including ceilings, floors, and all walls. Tim and his crew take pride in their craft. Well done.
