Marsden Building & Remodeling

Marsden Building & Remodeling led a renovation of our kitchen, mudroom and powder room in our 1927 home. The project took five months and the very few unexpected finds were communicated to us in a timely, professional manner with solid recommendations. The project management team set realistic expectations about the type of work we could expect in the coming days and how long each aspect would take. This was important to us because during the project they helped us relocate our kitchen, while we lived in the home. All the subcontractors were equally respectful, polite and did great work.

Our experience with Marsden could not have gone better! We remodeled our whole main floor of our home: new kitchen, took down a wall, new doors, new front door and an updated powder room. They could not have done a better job. The communication was always accurate, timely and honest. We ran into snags but they were small and well communicated. They respected our budget and concerns from the start. The date we were expected to complete remained the same from the first day we started work together until the day we moved in. We hope to do more projects with them in the future!

The Marsden team are wonderful people to work with! They remodelled my kitchen, including custom built cabinets that are beautifully designed and constructed. The craftsmanship of all the work (tile, paint, electrical, plumbing) was very good. Marsden is good at creative problem sovling. I look forward to working with them on future home improvement projects.

We have had several projects completed by them. Each time quality work has been completed, unique pieces have been created, and personal touches have been added to create the best possible, most beautiful project. We have had Marsden Building and Remodeling remodel and add on to an existing bathroom, create some new and fun spaces in our basement (including a beautiful office for my husband), build craft and misc storage for kids, redo a laundry room to include lots of shelving units and storage, and create beautiful radiator covers for our kids' bedrooms and our main floor radiators (granite covered, wooden Mission Style) that are an incredible and beautiful addition to our 1920s home. As I said above, if you want something done with creativity, quality and unique design, while accommodating your visions and dreams, I would highly recommend Marsden Building and Remodeling.

We underwent a large remodel that involved half of our home. There were so many decisions and choices and Chris helped us make every one of them so they fit. We LOVE our kitchen and master bedroom/bath. Chris has an incredible eye for remodeling, has an amazingly calm temperament, and is very flexible (allowing us to work with a couple friends in the business). His bid was on target, excluding only some minor unseen things that needed to be taken care of. The crew was incredibly respectful of our home and family, including a family dog. The project turned out beautiful and was actually completed a little ahead of schedule despite a couple of bumps.

Chris, Patty and the Marsden Building team did a stunning job on our kitchen & mudroom remodel. Our project also included a few other peripheral projects along the way. They created a great living situation for us in our home during the project - which is an additional complication for builders. They were able to create a livably environment even though the majority of our home was torn down to the studs. We could not have been more happy with the process and the final product!
