We watched Kimoy do a major renovation of a combined NYC apartment, and we were very impressed by every aspect of space use, sightlines, and traffic flow, as well as design, materials and furnishings. Their recommendations for contractors were excellent and the result is a beautiful home. We then asked them to do our bathroom renovation which also involved moving walls and reconfiguring rooms. And melding a contemporary bathroom into traditional house. We love the materials, fixtures, and especially comfort of our new bathroom. Everyone at Kimoy was a pleasure to work with - creative and thoughtful, smart and accessible. We could not recommend them more highly!

Kimoy designed the plans for my coop renovation. They were creative and professional without imposing their "vision" as other architects I interviewed tried to do. Instead, John and Tai listened carefully to my goals and lifestyle and designed a space that four and a half years later works perfectly for my needs. During the design phase of the project, I met with John and Tai in their atelier for hours going over the 4 different plans they came up with; eventually we settled on a wonderful design. They also helped me find an amazing contractor who completed their design beautifully and on time. During the construction phase, John met with me and contractor weekly to keep the project on point and on schedule. I recommend Kimoy without reservation. They are excellent architects and decent men who are a pleasure to work with.

Kimoy designed the most amazing full floor renovation of our Brooklyn brownstone! They were innovative, creative and listened to our wants and desires and found a way to make things work, even when the situation got tricky with the contractor we chose. We loved their enthusiasm and drive to create something unique and cool while still comfortable and pragmatic. We loved working with them so much, we are now starting a phase two, five years later, on another floor!

The best decision we made was in to retain their services as project managers, as they were able to provide exemplary leadership and direction whenever issues arose that needed their all-around expertise, and they worked very hard to ensure workarounds retained as much of the original specifications as they could.
