Jake and his team were outstanding. We completely gutted our 1,200-square-foot Sea Pines villa and had Jake do a complete makeover that would allow us to move to the island permanently. He spent time with us to understand our goals and helped us strategize the best ways to use the space we had. He helped us select custom built-ins, gave us a kitchen that rivals those in homes three times the size, and showed us how to maximize every inch of our villa. We needed to move in by October 31, which gave Jake a tight seven-week schedule, but he made sure our renovated home was ready. When there were problems with subcontractors, Jake's team stayed on top of the details to ensure everything was taken care of and completed according to expectations. Jake was not only our contractor, but also became a good friend in the process. I highly recommend Jake and Hammerhead Custom Builders.

I first hired Jake and his team for a commercial project, since this time, I have recommended him for both additional work at the resort as well as to friends for their residential projects. Ours was a big job, 4 bathrooms (adding a previously non-existant shower in one), the kitchen, moving walls, redoing flooring throughout the house, but Jake and Tyler and team kept their cool and were beyond patient with changing visions and bottom line budgets. Great problem solvers to boot.

Commented: Beautiful KitchenEllen, The counters are a granite named Fantasy Brown. What makes them so unique is that instead of being a typical polished finished, they have a leather finish. The counters are slightly rough. The ...

Commented: FloorsThe flooring is a 1/2" x 5" Pecan. The company is Forest Accents, the Pacific line in Mocha. Yes, this house is only one row away from ocean front and the flooring has held up beautifully.
