I worked with Ed Kozanlian's firm after a bad experience with another firm. Ed's eye for design, attention to detail, knowledge of construction and the ins and outs of working with the different tradesmen to get the job done to his specifications and within the time and budget specified, are outstanding. I was also impressed by the time he spent sourcing materials and fixtures that were just right for my home. I I have since recommended him to several friends who have had the same experience. I recently purchased an apt in NYC that needed a total gut job. Ed kozanlian was the perfect architect for me. He listened to what I envisioned; heard what I wanted but more importantly, what I did not want. His vision transformed a standard, boxy feeling 1100 sq ft, 1 bedroom into a magnificent huge, airy home. We worked together on everything major but I felt comfortable leaving the smaller projects in his capable hands. You have his full attention throughout the job and even after it is complete, Ed is there for whatever comes up (I needed stools for my kitchen and Ed found the perfect set). I know Ed works well with the GC as well as the individual contractors. He has unbelievable resources and knows his craftsman. My built-ins are outstanding and are nothing like the pre-fabs you'd get from a store. I gave Ed a budget and he came in under! I know if you meet with Ed, you'll like Ed.
