I have had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth Hill and Selby House Ltd. on many high end custom home projects since 1987. I have always found Elizabeth and her staff at Selby House Ltd. to be excellent communicators, which is key in the design industry. I was first introduced to Elizabeth Hill, owner and principle designer of Selby House Ltd, in 2009. That chance introduction has lead to a four year working relationship that is still going strong. Elizabeth has a great eye for visualizing what 'can be' and has the experience and talent to turn it into 'what is'. Her firm specializes in interior design and architectural detailing and has been servicing the San Francisco Bay area for over 30 years. Elizabeth Hill and her small team sure do crank out an incredible amount of design, and they do it with such a personal touch that I always feel they are part of the family. Although their strength is in traditional design, I have seen contemporary projects they've also done with excellent taste. I used Selby House for my home remodel almost 20 years ago, and I continue to get the same friendly reception for my more recent small requests: wallpaper for a bathroom, and a couple of chaise lounge cushions made for my Hawaii home. They've always stayed within my budget - Elizabeth gives options at different price points when we begin any project, so the cost is always my choice. The only negative is that because she is so busy, it's difficult to get Elizabeth to my home when I want her, but her support team is very good.
