BUYERS BEWARE OF IRRESPONSIBLE COMPANY POTENTIALLY FRAUDULENT Our company is a hotel property development company which had ordered close to 140 ceramic stools from UPI. We had already paid 50% advance for the production of these stools. UPI had replied on inquiries on quotations expediently, but the moment you pay the deposit, replies are far and hard to come by (est. 2 weeks for simple questions). To date, since the order has been placed, it has been 3 months. The agreed production timeline was 1 month. Since then, UPI has given multiple excuses not to send the products (factory on fire, in hospital etc). We had given them the benefit of doubt in view of the supposed factory fire, postponing the deadline time and again. Repeated attempts to connect only brought about the reply "give me 8 more days", "give me 10 more days". These deadlines were never met. Since the last correspondence one month ago, there has been radio silence on their end. Buyers beware that UPI gives you very low and competitive prices on their quotations, but appears to us that is a company which is highly irresponsible and could most likely be fraudulent.
