“Groundworks studio has provided landscape architecture design for my home over the last 4 years with the most recent consultation in 12/12. In addition to design, groundworks studio worked with me to select contractors and to supervise installation. It has been a perfect relationship with beautiful design work, collaboration, professionalism and great attention to detail. goundworks was very willing to work with me on an overall plan which was implemented in phases. I have been particularly delighted with the use of native plants. The use of a rain garden in my back yard has completely solved all of my drainage problems while adding a beautiful element to my landscape. The project began with a new driveway and courtyard including hardscape and plantings that provided the "bones" of my new garden. We then came back to landscape my front yard and a side yard. This was a large project over a long time frame, and the quality and professionalism has never wavered. It has been an absolute joy to work with groundworks and I recommend them without reservation.”

“Scott Arnold, Arnold Landscape Architecture + Design PLLC, and his team represent the very best of professionalism. Scott was incredibly quick to find a time he could walk through my project with me. I already had a great plan drawn and he made it fantastic by adding subtle nuances I would have never thought of. Scott’s knowledge and experience was the difference maker in transferring a “paper plan” to the shape and form of my landscaping while he and his team’s professionalism was what reinforced the fact that I had made the right decision to entrust my yard and landscaping to him. Scott did a great job of communicating with me when his team would be at the house and what the action plan of the day was. His team was punctual, polite and industrious while on site. Scott, thankfully, factored in some “wiggle” room for “what if” scenarios and, as stated earlier, provided a “value add” proposition when offering suggestions . I am incredibly pleased with my new landscaping. I have had countless neighbors and “walkers” of the neighborhood compliment my new beds and their design. “When we recently contracted with State Park Landscaping Services to remove and replace our old deck, which extends from the second floor over a patio below, we told Ken that all we wanted was just a very basic deck to replace it with. What we got was far beyond our expectations!! We now have a beautiful deck that is super well constructed, built with top grade materials and far exceeds what we were expecting from a "basic" deck. It was obvious from the start that Ken took pride in his work and wouldn't settle for anything less than the best. Him and his crew worked in 22 degree weather and 80 degree weather and were always efficient, productive and friendly no matter the weather or hidden obstacles they encountered. I would not hesitate to call on State Park Landscaping again and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a job well done.”
