“We have a house and an acre of land in Metchosin, BC. It is a semi-rural part of Victoria so very lush, green and always growing! As we have not yet moved there full time, the garden was getting ahead of us and we were completely overwhelmed with the amount of work and at a loss for any ideas to get it under control and looking good. I went to a neighbourhood Garden Centre and basically said: "I need help" and they gave me Theresa Balak's card. I was ever so grateful! Theresa came over,to see us and we talked about what we envisioned, our lifestyle and our ideas and wishes for plants and the overall look we had in mind. She took measurements, created comprehensive drawings of the dream and gave us hope that we could find a solution that worked for us - easy care, drought and deer resistant and beautiful. She recommended three possible landscapers as well. Her flexibility and yet clear direction for neophyte gardeners was so appreciated. Her design and the landscaping of Natural Solutions has turned out out-of-control front yard into a beautiful display. (I am sure our neighbours are thankful and the deer travel through it with rarely a sniff or a nibble!) Thanks so much, Theresa!!”

“The service we received from Coste Verde was excellent from start to finish. Prompt replies and a hardworking team of landscapers made for a great experience. They turned our very sad front yard into a beautiful garden. We asked for a drought resistant garden and they recommended a lovely mix of flowers, trees and shrubs. “Jennifer Lasko assisted us with the renovation of the planters and plants on the terrace of our Vancouver condo in the summer of 2017. Our condo has a large 1000 square foot terrace and when we purchased the condo it came with a collection of uninspired and over grown planters and plants. Jennifer took the time to understand our tastes and how we wanted to use the terrace. We even visited several garden supply centres together so we could discuss what different styles of planters and what plants were available. Then she provided us with an overall design for the renovation of the terrace that included planters, arrangements and plants to complement the way we used the terrace. Jennifer delivered all of the new planters, plants and supplies to our condo and was willing to have us help as much or as little as we wanted. She also took away of the old planters and plants as part of her work. Visitors never fail to comment on how beautiful the terrace looks and of course we know that the credit goes to Jennifer’s design and hard work.”

“Two projects have been done. The first was the removal and rebuilding of a patio including installing a drainage system for the entire back yard of our home. The second was the removal and complete reconstruction of large water feature which includes a stream, pond and water circulation system. Work on both projects featured reliable starting when promised, expeditious carrying out of the work and excellent quality of work. We appreciated and implemented recommendations made by the owner and his project foreman which was a bonus in having Kennedy Landscaping do the work. Highly recommended.”

“We have a shared driveway with our neighbour and selected Abbey Road Paving to replace our old, cracked cement surface with paving stones. The work was done in May, 2015. It was a large project involving detailed plans for proper sloping and drainage requirements. We are very happy with the results. The project was done effciently and we were consulted on all phases of the job. The paving stone surface is an attractive alternative to a cement or paved surface. We now have the best looking driveway in our neighbourhood. As a bonus, our driveway is also semi-permeable and qualified for a cash rebate from Victoria's rainwater rewards program. We would recommend Abbey Road Paving and Landscapes to anyone wanting to build or replace their driveway or patio surface.”

“We had a garden pond that was very overgrown, and when the liner failed it gave us impetus to rebuild it. We'd seen Wildwood's work on a garden tour, and liked it. Mike James gave us an estimate, and offered a suggestion for an expansion of the pond into a water feature. No pressure, but it was a great suggestion, and we took it. The work started when promised, was done quickly and very well. Great crew - hard working, polite, inventive. They asked for input often, and I'm sure would have incorporated suggestions, but we let them do what they wanted. We're pleased with the result. I'd recommend Wildwood to anyone.”
