We hired White Lotus Interiors to help renovate our home.What we loved about White Lotus Interiors is that Nirmala listens to her client's needs and executes it to perfection.They always leave the place neat and clean every time some work is done.We have truly enjoyed working with Nirmala and would and have recomend her to a number of family and friends.

Very tastefully done interiors. Unusual choice of colours and textures all contributed to a very pleasant, visually pleasing space. Comfort was not compromised at all. In total, highly recommended Interior designer.

Meticulous is the word that best describes Nirmala Rajan and White Lotus. I have never known an interior designer who looks at an apartment in such detail. I am grateful to her and her excellent staff for the work they did on our apartment and I would recommend her unhesitatingly to anyone.

The White Lotus did a small project at our residence in November '23 . What particularly impressed me with Nirmala Rajan and team was the professional approach . NIrmala met at the site more than once and took pains to understand the requirement , before brining in her contractor on his first visit. She had several suggestions, at the same time was open to suggestions/ feedback from us. The team (masons, electricians, plumbers) worked and coordinated well with each other , knew their job and were always polite at all interactions. Overall very satisfied at the outcome of this project. It was a fairly straightforward job, but what stood out was NIrmala's creative approach, high attention to detail and her overall supervision during the course of the project.

We hired The white lotus interiors to do interiors on our 4 bed apartment. The work is now complete and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The entire team led by Nirmala are so professional that we didn’t have any snags along the way. Nirmala always heard our ideas, bettered them with her expertise and executed every one of them to perfection. We always knew what to expect at every stage because Nirmala always showed us samples beforehand which put us at ease. We have been living in the apartment for a few months now and Nirmala and team have been very hands-on with even the most minor issues (i.e.) chipped paint, that crop up with living in the space. Overall I am so glad we came across Nirmala when we were looking for interiors professionals, if I had to do my house all over again, picking her would be our first easy decision.

We hired her for a home renovation and she came up with some very interesting ideas that really transformed the house. She is focused on finding solutions to any problems thrown her way, and she does not compromise on quality. At the same time, she is also cognizant of the budget agreed upon. I never had to remind her about any of the items we discussed. She even remembered the smallest items, weeks later! She was completely involved in the project at every stage. I had several constraints, and was unable to visit the site during the renovation. She managed to ensure that I had access to all the samples and the work went on smoothly without any intervention or supervision from my end. They delivered on their promise, and within the timelines discussed. Nirmala's contractor, Ramanujam, and site supervisor, Satya, were very professional and respectful in all their interactions. They went the extra mile to ensure that the project was completed in time. Even post renovation, her team was very helpful in fixing minor issues that came up. Overall, Nirmala and her team did a great job, and I would definitely hire them again for any future requirements.

It was a delight working with Nirmala. She helped us translate an idea into an actual house in the most professional and committed manner. She was there for us 24/7, responding immediately to all queries. She is thorough and professional, and has excellent problem solving skills, so whatever I asked for, she made it happen. Above all, Nirmala is very observant, and pays great attention for detail, which means her sharp eye catches anything that's done wrongly or awkwardly. She was very mindful of my budget, and yet did not compromise on quality or take shortcuts, and insisted on doing everything properly and thoroughly. A person with such good work ethic could afford to be a bit over bearing and forceful, but that's not the case with Nirmala, who is very gentle, thoughtful and calm in her manner. She never once tried to impose her views on me, but yet gently steered me away from making mistakes and kept me on the right path. I'm very happy our paths crossed, and now we have this lovely home thanks to her.

We engaged The White Lotus Interiors(WLI) for complete renovation works to our apartment. They went about the process of transforming our rundown apartment to a posh and modern one with meticulous planning, timely and orderly execution. We were kept in the loop a at every stage with before and after pictures, thereby helping us monitor the progress. Nirmala was always a step ahead of us. She would send us details of planned works, helped us make learned and practical choices of floor tiles, bathroom tiles, bathroom fittings, mosquito netting, curtains, modular kitchen, sent us electrical wiring details with proposed switches and plug points all over the house, helped us with our air conditioning requirements, kitchen hardware, light fittings and electrical hardware including the inverter. She would always help us find the best deal from the vendors for the above requirements. We had to pay the vendors and the contractor only when instructed to pay so, which was usually after she was satisfied with the completed work. Nirmala also gave us great suggestions & ideas! She gave serious attention to all details and was never willing to compromise on the final finish. Her supervisor Satya and the Contractor Ramanujam were great to interact with. They were very professional and respectful and they strived hard to complete the renovation project as soon as possible. Thank you team WLI… our home looks fabulous. We did not encounter any stress during the renovation process. We appreciate every single worker for all the efforts in making our home what it is. We have nothing but good things to say - we are really fortunate to have found WLI for this project and we highly recommend this professional company for your renovations. We had a unique renovation situation with covid looming large and my folks already occupying the place. Nirmala took up the challenge and am happy to mention that she did a stellar job. She was patient with multiple ideas flowing in from abroad and local. Her choice of contractors, the eye for details and meticulous work scheduling need a special mention. Inspite, of being hit by every possible regional festivals, natural disaster (floods) and workers affected by covid, she still managed to get the assignment completed on time. Her suggestion on interiors were very tasteful and keeping the budget in mind. She kept us updated on a daily basis with photographs and made it a point to visit the site every week ( though it was tedious commute by Chennai standards). Her passion is infectious and brings out creativity in all. She has a become a dear friend and we are glad to have been associated with her.

I was not sure if I needed an interior designer for my new apartment. Neither did I know of any interior designer who would suit my requirements. I came in contact with Nirmala through our builders, Chaitanya Builders. When she told me that she had started an interior designing company, I was ecstatic! I instinctively liked her and her taste. Her office room, was enough to make me sure. A tour of her house just added to the confirmation. Simple and classy! This has been my first experience with an interior designer and I have not ever regretted my decision! Nirmala is very meticulous and Innovative. She comes up with a lot of ideas and also takes your opinions in all matters, before implementing the same. She also sticks to your recommended budget which came within Rs 15 lakhs. She has got the perfect contacts for all one’s requirements- be it furniture/ upholstery/ mosquito nets etc. She’s a perfectionist when it comes to getting the work done and leaves no stone unturned to get to the finished product of her taste and requirement. There’s a personal touch in all that she does, which suits me perfectly! Little ideas which make a whale of a difference to the whole outcome! This is what she brings to the table. I will, without a second thought, recommend her to my family and friends who are on the lookout for an interior designer. I am glad that I found an incredible interior designer who has also turned out to be a wonderful friend!

A design professional with impeccable taste, a meticulous approach and total dedication to her work, she transforms an empty space into a home with a life and personality. At the end of our first meeting, Ms Rajan had gauged my mental make-up and taste. So she introduced me only to vendors who suited my taste and budget. She got the quotations, then guided me through the selection process and waited patiently for me to make the final choice. A perfectionist, Ms Rajan supervised the installation of the equipment with an eagle eye and handed over the premises to me. I am totally satisfied with her work.
