The Eastern Hues

Our design outlook is inspired by the thought that every piece of fabric has a story to tell; and that is what endears us to our clients. But our own story began back in early 2000 when Usha, a conscious innovator with an eye for detail and a stickler for perfection, decided to create The Eastern Hues as a brand that decorates rooms with the personas of clients. Starting with raw silks, jacquards and brocades, The Eastern Hues has forayed into an array of fabrics like denim, linen, jute and cotton, with silks being the evergreen favourite. The Eastern Hues grew in clientele, product range and geography, and Usha was joined by her daughter, Neha Gandhi Barar, who continued to grow the brand with her understanding of the business. Besides holding exhibitions worldwide, The Eastern Hues creates customised home furnishings including cushions, bed linen and table linen keeping in mind the need and budget of their clients.
