“Jimmy did an outstanding job with the design and architectural plans for my 12,000 sq ft home here in Hawaii. Although the project took much longer to get to the build stage (not at any fault Jimmy's), he stuck with his original quote and time frames for billing. We had many meetings together during the design and build phase and made all necessary changes to the plans along the process. And as a result our home won the AIA Peoples Choice Award and a Merit Award with the BIA. The fees i paid were reasonable and the end result was outstanding.”

“I had a great time with John at Lapis Design Partners. He worked with me from the very first meeting to the final walk through process of my house located at Kahala neighborhood in Honolulu. He spent a great deal of his time into this project since I was not in full time residence during the process. We communicate over email, phone conversation and fax very intensively. He and his partner, Susan as a professional long-time interior designer always respected my views and wishes toward this dream house. I enjoyed the relationship with John during the process and appreciated very much for his professionalism as an architect and his responsiveness to the job. “It is with great pleasure that I highly recommend Deb Rosenblum's architectural skills. When my husband and I purchased our Kailua home, it was in need of a complete renovation. We realized this would be a lengthy project of planning and implementing. Renovating an existing home is a daunting task due to limits imposed by our original structure and footprint of the home. We hoped to retain the charm and update the structure. Our dream was a home that allowed for family and friends to relax in comfort while enjoying our spectacular Kailua Beach. We interviewed several architects all with wonderful resumes. I expect all were qualified but only Deb radiated a sense of excitement and enthusiasm for our project from the moment she entered our home. Deb was eager to tackle every challenge and create the home we envisioned. She listened thoughtfully to our ideas and helped us to bring them to life. In the process of planning, Deb assisted us with computer aids which allowed us to virtually explore the spaces. I enjoy selecting interior finishes and Deb provided great sources from which we could select those materials. Her recommendations included state of the art materials that were durable and beautiful. When we completed the planning stage, we left the project in Deb's capable hands. In addition to designing our home Deb was our project manager. She had a fantastic working relationship with the building team and sub contractors. She also introduced talented experts to us who added custom details that set the house apart. She visited the site often and through weekly calls kept us updated on progress. She was persistent in permitting process and the details of construction. She is a force of positive energy! Our beautiful home is now completed and it is everything we had hoped it to be. Our children and grandchildren have already enjoyed many happy days in the space Deb created. I am thrilled to finally be living in our new home but enjoyed the process of working with Deb. The job is complete but she will remain a friend for life!”
