“Mark did a great job designing our home. If you want a cookie cutter house he is not the one to see. But if you want a unique home that has character Mark is the one of the best. I have had many people who have been to our home who have said WOW I love you living room and master bedroom how did you come up with these designs. Now he doesn't come cheap but I think in the end he was worth every penny. Also during the construction process he stopped by to be sure that the framers were laying everything out properly which was good because he caught a couple mistakes during the framing process.”

“Viridian Architectural Design, Inc was hired to design a single family residence in a rural location where an existing home was to be demolished. The house was to be built as 'green' as possible within our budget. Working with Viridian was a pleasure. Terry Thornsbury designed the house incorporating our ideas, found local sources, provided insight and oversight during construction, helped with issues that inevitably arose, met with various vendors and contractors and subcontractors to get the project finished within our timeframe. We were happy to work with Viridian and would recommend the business to others seeking to build an energy efficient home or commercial building.”

“Nick manufactured a concrete bathroom countertop and half wall coap with a three inch face that turned out beautifully and accented our vessel sink wonderfully. He then took 5/16 backer board and did a concrete overlay that match the countertop flawlessly for a soaker tub surround as well as two caps for the ends of the soaker tub/ fawcet mounts. Nick does excellent work and look forward to doing business with him again in the future.”

“My husband and I hired Ben Greenberg, owner of Maru-Arch for a possible renovation of our kitchen, master bath, and an addition of a full bath for a child's bedroom. We had never worked with an architect before, and were unsure how the process works. However, we were immediately calmed by his website's thorough explanation of what to expect when hiring an architect, and upon meeting him we knew that Ben understood our vision. We met with Maru-Arch (Ben Greenberg) several times throughout the planning stages of the design, discussing everything from budget, to layout, to personal style. He was honest in what could practically be implemented and what might be a budgetary concern, and was helpful in suggesting alternative solutions if the current design conflicted with the existing house and budgetary limits. The best thing I can say about our experience with Ben, is his responsiveness. Any time I sent an email asking for a change to the design, or a question about layout, I was emailed back within the day.. sometimes even the hour. I always felt like he understood how important the project was to us. Ben was upfront about the cost of the different phases of the project, starting with his fees and the services he provides. For our project we met several times, went through many stages of drawings with revisions, and ultimately submitted his drawings to local contractors who submitted bids for the job. Because of the thorough experience in hiring an architect, we were able to see the pros and cons of renovating vs moving into another house.. and ultimately we decided to move, instead. But without the help of working with Ben and seeing the real cost of a renovation, we would have never known the best choice for our family. And if we ever want to renovate another House, the first person we would call, would be Maru-Arch. No matter how big or small of a project, he will understand your vision and will work tirelessly until the dream you saw in your mind is staring back at you in the form of an architectural drawing.”

“Len was the designer of our first home in a golf community in 1997. After looking through lots and lots of Southern Living magazines for my perfect cape cod, Len was able to take our dreams and my request for a "big front porch"and designed a beautiful spacious home for us. That home was almost 5000 square feet, with five bedrooms, each with large walk-in closets, 4 1/2 baths, (and my front porch was 37' long and 9' deep-with white pillars!)and it was a great home to raise our three children. Now that we are empty nesters, we downsized to a 2600 sq. ft. home. Built in 1996 and sitting on 4.6 partially wooded acres,it is a beautiful property, but the home needed a lot of updating and walls moved around to make it feel more open and ready to entertain or just relax as a couple. Len and Lifespace Design once again came through with a plan for making this house a warm, inviting and peaceful home where we plan to stay for a long time! Our remodeled home is not quite done-we replaced the roof, all of the windows and siding, added cross heads to the windows, and made a pantry and a laundry room out of the old dining room. We also removed walls and enlarged the kitchen and family room and added a 15'x17' screened porch with a log burning fireplace, an in-ground pool, and are now remodeling the upstairs as we build a 30'x60' storage barn. Len helped us arrange the old master bedroom into a private and beautiful suite which will be for my mom when she decides to come live with us. We are creating an upstairs master suite according to the plans Len gave us. He always makes us feel comfortable adding our own touches or making changes we want to fit our needs. We were so pleased with the great value of his service for the price! I doubt we will build or remodel anytime again soon, but this is a beautiful home that we are so proud to show our friends and family thanks to Len and his expertise at making our house the perfect home. I would definitely recommend Len and Lifespace Design to any of my friends and family, whether they were doing a extensive remodel or even just some updating.”
