We worked with Matt for two balcony repairs including structural work and re-surfacing. He spent lots of time and effort to find the right and affordable ways to do the job. He was very open explaining things along the way. And also was easy to reach and talk to him about progress and needed changes, etc and was very helpful. They did a very solid job in the end.

I'm so glad I chose Matt to remodel my entire home last summer. He is a great guy with sound technical knowledge, and very pleasant to work with. He is extremely patient, professional and punctual. Most other contractors are either too busy/impatient or arrogant or pricey or non-communicative. Matt and his team worked 6 days a week for 4 months to turn my 3 bed, 2 bath SFH from an old dark cramped fixer upper to a bright spacious picture of elegance. They did everything from tearing down walls and ripping up floors to electrical, plumbing, wood and tile flooring, bathroom remodeling, installing new doors/windows/cabinets/closet systems, and haul away. Matt was the first of several contractors that visited my home to give me a bid. Over the next few weeks, the project scope changed rapidly as we worked through the design and permits with our planner/designer. Each time, Matt patiently reworked his quote, even if it required him to make multiple trips to the property. He would happily take care of little jobs that weren't explicitly outlined in the contract, such as picking up materials from the stores etc. Matt does not shy away from dirty dingy pest infested places, but in fact runs towards them with both arms. When we wanted to open up the kitchen to the living room but weren't sure if it was safe to tear down the separating wall, Matt voluntarily brought in his friend who was an architect-cum-structural engineer for consultation. Without that help, we were facing a few grand in expenses towards the engineer's fees. Communication-wise- Matt is very clear and timely with questions, comments and decisions. As this was my first time flipping an entire home, there were often some things that I didn't understand, and Matt would go to great lengths to explain it to me, so that I could make an informed decision. Pricing-wise, Matt's quote for the initial scope of the project was very competitive, but later on, as the project expanded, he quoted us much higher than other contractors, so we had to haggle with him a little. However, I do appreciate his honesty in that, if the dollar wasn't worth his effort, he told me so, instead of compromising on cost and quality. And when I did hire other contractors for parts of the project, Matt wasn't bitter or upset. He gladly coordinated with the other guys to make sure everything went smoothly. The only job that Matt didn't want to take up due to lack of sufficient expertise is the installation of "frameless" pivoting glass doors on bathtubs and shower stalls (versus the usual framed sliding doors). This increased the overall cost and time of the bathroom remodel quite a bit, as we had to find someone else to install just the doors. I strongly urge Matt to get up to speed on frameless glass door installation, as that's the way moving forward with bathroom remodels :) I'd like to conclude by adding my voice to some of the other reviewers' opinion: Matt is someone I could trust. His cool and calm demeanor calms your nerves (because remodeling is stressful), and your satisfaction is of utmost importance to Matt. I'd happily use Matt again for my future projects, and recommend him to others as well

Highly recommend Matt and his team! We had some structural damage due to an accident - Matt did a great job in getting a structural engineer to draw up plans quickly, get them reviewed and approved by the City, and then ultimately getting a final inspection done, all in a short timespan. Meanwhile, he kept things moving along with our project so that we wouldn't be delayed further while waiting for the City to approve the permit, etc. Matt kept us informed of changes to the schedule in a very timely manner, there were never any questions as to the project schedule on our end. We were very pleased with the level of interaction we had through the duration of the project. The work was done well and we would highly recommend US Creative Builders

Complete Remodeling on a 4 unit apartment Building after Fire damage! After a fire on my building which burned one unit and the roof and extinguishing the fire flooded the other 3 units I had to completely rebuild the place. After the abatement process was done and after I spoke with many contractors and restorations specialist over 6 months period I met Matt from US Creative Builders. He came to the meeting on time and during the next 2 weeks provide me with a scope of work and project plan We stated he can start in a week and be ready by the time which the tenants have to move in. He also informed me about the job he will still be working from time to time as he had previous commitments and still had to finish few items and pass inspections Matt provided me with references which I visited in person or spoke with. Based on the references and the advise of his customers I decided to work with him and we signed the contact The project started as planned and when I visited the jobs site on the weekend ( I leave 160 miles away form my rental property ) I was surprised with the speed of the project was unfolding Fast forward few months my building was demolished to bare framing and the roof was completely replaced with new Truss system roof with cool shingles which will provide lower energy cost for my tenants Matt helped me finalize the Selection of the HVAC system, Kitchen layout and even helped with delivery of my cabinets from the store Gave advise on the tile design and informed me how important is to go with actual tiles in the kitchen vs the LPV I was planning From start to end the project fitted in our timeline and I got signed occupancy paperwork signed the day before the tenants had to move in Four 2 bedroom 1 bathe apartments, Laundry room gutted and rebuild inside and out with only 5 days delay of the project This was project management at its best !!!!! P.s. One of the main concerns of his previous customers was that he was not working on the job by himself but I am glad to say that the owner a construction company need to guide and manage the project rather than do it by himself or he will never grow

My home suffered significant water damage recently due to a faucet plumbing leak while i was away. My upper level flooring soaked up in water, tore thru the ceiling and water got to the downstairs kitchen area, damaged all the laminate, the side walls, kitchen cabinets etc etc. It was horrible. I had lost 60% of my home due to water damage. I had to replace the kitchen cabinets, vanity cabinets, ceiling, the side walls, laminate/tile flooring, had to have my furnitures reassembled & put back in their original location. This was essentially a reconstruction/repair and a kitchen/bath remodeling project After researching several contractors for two weeks, i zeroed in on US Creative Builders. I chose them for the following reasons: 1) Matt sounded like a person i could trust. Majority of the contractors were trying to take advantage of my situation preying on my limited knowledge of construction and how insurance worked. Matt was honest about his bid and pretty ok whether he won the bid or not. 2) He was very punctual and professional about his meeting times. He kept his word & showed up each time i had an appointment with him. 3) He had to redo the bid a few times as we discussed the extent of the repairs. He was patient with the whole process 4) He offered full service. He guided me through the materials, took care of moving my existing furniture away for construction and then moving them back post construction 5) His prices & the timing of work completion were very reasonable. I then signed up to work with Matt. His crew worked nearly 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. They were there in the morning at 7:30am and worked till 6pm and they got the job done in 4 weeks, much faster than what the other contractors had promised. There were plenty of things i liked about their work: 1. First & foremost the overall quality of construction 2. They kept their promise, completed the work on time 3. Matt's calm & cool composure. He always valued my satisfaction over money or time. 4. Their flexiiblity -- to go visit local stores to pick up the materials as we tried/retried various options, accomodate any minor changes/deviation from original plan without any fuss 4. Matt's reasonable pricing of upgrades/changes which were not originally planned I am thrilled i chose Matt's services and i would enthusiastically recommend his services for home repair/reconstruction
