Byron is one of the best contractors I have ever met. Byron completed the remodel (almost 90% tear down and rebuild) of my home in South Palo Alto. The quality of Byron's work was impeccable and unlike most contractors the quoted amount was right on the money. Additionally, his time estimate for completition of the work was right on spot. We had Byron handle all aspects o our new house construction from tear-down to final occupancy inspection in Palo Alto. We were warned by our friends that a new house construction would be a very stressful situation with myriad issues ranging from shoddy work, missed deadlines, inspection snafu and so. With Byron as the general contractor, we didn't find the process as bad as we had anticipated. The reasons are many fold. The first is Byron has a good eye for visual aesthetics and can give good suggestions with rough cost estimates. The second reason is that Byron has high quality standards even for non visible construction areas such as alarm/Ethernet wiring cabling. The most important reason is that we trusted Byron to do the right thing and we weren't disappointed. Byron standards also extended to his set of sub-contractors and if not, Byron was there to insist on the corrective action. In our neighborhood area within a one street radius, there are at least 4 other houses that Byron has constructed and everyone had similar pleasant experience. In fact, one family used Byron to construct a second home !!

We provided a custom spiral staircase for a basement addition project Byron was working on. It was an excellent experience working with his team. At every step they were very professional, on schedule, and congenial. The result of the project was excellent, and we would happily collaborate with him on further projects.

From the very first day Byron moved his mini-dozer into my small backyard, immediately I knew that it was going to be BIG. Byron renewed my concept about house remodel. Professionalism and craftsmanship went above and beyond my expectations. The end results, an unique/ one of a kind masterpiece was crafted in every corners and details of the project. Byron is quite an artist. 5-star is not exaggerating. he went beyond my expectation and tried to keep me within budget. he was very detail to a point that sometimes i had to tell him "i think this is good enough". he provided lots of interesting recommendations in designing and material options. sure, much of the material i got were from IKEA, but they turn out very nicely done. he's especially good with tile and counter-top work.
