South Point Construction

Being my first venture, I finally set out to do something I had wanted and also thought would enhance my home - a front porch addition. On the flip side I didn't know how to get started, who to talk with or what to do. I spoke with a friend and got the ball rolling with contacting companies to get estimates for comparative pricing. Due to wind & hail damage, I was getting a new roof; so the Contractors said this would be the best time to add the porch too. I settled with South Point, met with one of their Division Managers and shared with them a picture from the Better Homes & Garden magazine that I had kept for >10 years so they would have an idea of my vision for the front porch. I had already selected South Point for the roof job, so they made a drawing for me so I would have an idea of the finished product with the porch addition which would be ~14' x 6.5'. I was amazed in just how short a time it took them to complete the project once they got started. At completion, the porch didn't match the vision I had in my mind but now that 4 months have passed, it's growing on me and it definitely suits the size and style of my home. Neighbors have commented on how nice it looks. I am appreciative to the South Point Division Manager who took the time to walk me through the process, explaining how things worked along the way. SouthPoint Roofing & Construction helped to rebuild a trey ceiling in my master bedroom that was done incorrectly by a previous home owner. They did an excellent job. They also rebuilt my deck and put up a new screened porch. Their employees are very professional and skilled. They cleaned up everyday before they left my home. They kept me informed throughout the project. I have no reservations in recommending this company.

Billy Halley is a joy to work with. He listened to our "must-haves" list, then offered some better suggestions. Gave us a fair cost bid, started on time, and looks like he will finish on time and on budget for q major back porch - to - 4 season sun room conversion. We're working long distance on this project, so he has provided picture updates every week. We will use South Point for three other updates to this newly-purchased home.
