The table we bought 10 months ago from Homemakers did not hold up at all. We discovered after using it a few months the quality of the laminate over the mdf wood was very thin and with normal use, it is nicked over 30 times and worn down where the two pieces come together. Then after a package was opened on the table, the packing tape came in contact with the table and peeled a large portion of the laminate off. I am disappointed Homemakers would sell a poor quality table like this. I should have researched it more before buying. Homemakers said it was a 'customer caused defect' and I could pay another $152 to get a new table top. I was hoping that after spending $430 on this table, plus another $900+ on other products in the last 6 months, they'd give me credit towards a new tabletop or a new table. Buyer beware.... do your research on the quality before buying furniture at Homemakers. The table brand is Chintaly, the Bethany.
