About Us

Central Indiana’s Shines Studios is a professional cabinet painting and refinishing company with faux finish solutions for every surface and style! We are the go-to experts for designers, architects, builders, business owners and homeowners. We have done numerous projects across Indiana and the Midwest. We specialize in custom decorative and faux finishes for cabinets, walls and ceilings. Both Sarah and Mets are members of IDAL, the International Decorative Artisans League. They have worked on some amazing commercial and residential projects over the years including the concepting of many restaurants. They recently did a project for the LUME exhibit in Newfields, one of the local Indianapolis art museums. Shines Studios offers Cabinet and faux painting at its best for your upcoming projects. It was such a joy meeting Sarah and Mets of Shines Studio! They transformed my kitchen cabinets from dark to white in a professional and timely manner. I highly recommend them without a doubt! Call them today!

Sarah and Mets are both top-notch artisans! We have used them several times and no matter how difficult our design are they always manage to exceed all expectations! In our basement we wanted an industrial rusty feel (Although it was only drywall) and they transformed it into an old rusted wall as one expect to find in an old abandoned factory! They even did the light switch plates! Nearly everyone who has seen it swear that it's real until they touch it. This is but one example of their incredible work!

Sarah & Mets did a wonderful job in painting our Kitchen & Bathroom cabinets! Very detailed and professional. They certainly know their product and were very easy to communicate with. Never late to the job and always cleaned up after each day they worked in our home. We love the new look of our cabinets! Highly Recommend!

Sarah and Metz were awesome. My old kitchen looks brand new with white painted cabinets and great hardware. They were so easy to work with, their work quality was superb, all deadlines met with ease. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to update their kitchens without going to the expense of new cabinetry!

We hired Sarah and Mets to refinish our kitchen cabinets. We found them through Houzz and from the moment we contacted them until the last detail was completed... we could not be happier that we contracted them for this project. There are probably many people and companies out there that can refinish cabinets, but it is their attention to all details that truly sets them apart. Their workmanship was near perfect and any small imperfection was quickly addressed. So in the end, we had a brand new kitchen. To quote my husband... our cabinets look like they have a factory finish - or perhaps even better! In addition to Sarah and Mets being outstanding at their craft, they are genuinely nice people! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Sarah and Mets were great! They have ample product knowledge and are very good at communicating their prices and expectations of the work. Job coordination when working with contractors was terrific....and that's not an easy task...would highly recommend this pair to any one who wants excellent quality workmanship and an eye-stopping end result!!!

These two are the BEST! From start to finish, (and even after!) ... so helpful, kind, hard-working, reliable... seriously, I hope to be able to work with Shine Studios again. Sarah and Mets refinished my kitchen cabinets from dark brown to white. My new cabinets are so beautiful! Working with these two was a great experience!

Fantastic, great quality service.I hired Sarah and Mets back in March 2018 to re-finish my kitchen cabinets. They returned my call quickly and scheduled a consultation meeting soon after. Sarah and Mets provided recommendations on colors for the cabinets and kitchen walls as well. We wanted to add tile back splash to the project and they had recommendations for that. Both the back-splash contractors and Sarah coordinated their work to be expediate the project timeline. The end result was fabulous and it looks like a new kitchen. Furthermore, I had a few thin scratches a few months later on and they came back to the house to re-touch them at no additional cost. I have recommended Sarah and Mets to my neighbors and I would use them again if I had more projects.
