I used Sawdon Homes to remodel my new house. They were honest and I felt safe having them around. Travis Sawdon is great at his job and offered suggestions when I needed help.

Highly recommend Sawdon homes. They care about their client and they care about their work. On our remodel they noticed things and went the extra mile to make sure it was done right and to our satisfaction. Super professional, super creative, and easy to work with.

We employed Sawdon Homes because we knew they built beautiful custom homes and we wanted the same quality and expertise for our little old home. They did not disappoint. We had much updating and cosmetic changes needed in this old home as well as the addition of a room and bathroom. As a Realtor, I work with and see many contractors work and follow through. Sawdon homes was timely and never missed a days work! Alot to be said for many contractors and subs. They had attention to every detail and helped me plan and create the rooms I wanted. They are the team I refer to many and highly recommend for a new home construction or remodeling!

Sawdon Homes completed a large addition and remodel at our house. The result was fantastic! The Sawdon team is always professional and is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of construction and remodeling. I would highly recommend their business!

We have built, and rebuilt, several homes over the years. Our experience with Travis and Jeff set a new, "high bar", well exceeding our expectations. Their high level of expertise and integrity was apparent every step of the way. Plus, they are good people who truly care. I only wish we had found them a few houses earlier.

I believe in being TOTALLY HONEST because I respect the fact that others may be depending on my review to make a reliable, safe & affordable decision for their families. I am a mother of 3 very small children under the age of 4yrs. old & live in the Dominion. We love the Lord & believe integrity is extremely important. We were overwhelmed & extremely disappointment in the countless amount contractors who wanted to over charge us just because of where we lived. With that said, we THOUGHT we had finally met an honesty company in Sawdon Homes....unfortunately, we learned that we were fools. First, Travis (owner) was there only 10% of the time & his crew argued, talked bad about each other & took days to do things that would have taken hours if they: (1.) were on time, (2.) worked instead of talking on phone & joking around (3). took less than 2 hour lunch breaks, and (4.) communicated with each other about their roles & responsibilities before the day started. Unlike the previous review, we did not get a clean house daily. As a matter of FACT, one of their painters left a razor at the top of the stairs where my children could have been victims of a horrible accident. And to make matters worse, when told about the situation, NOTHING WAS DONE...a very nonchalant "my bad" was provided, and then we were made to feel as if we had did something wrong for wanting to address that, along with, numerous other concerns. We were then given prices that later changed (not to our benefit) and it didn't matter that we had the previous price given in writing. For example, we were given one price for a miss room & then it changed for the worse once Travis came to visit. Additionally, we were charged for their electrician fixing a doorbell & he did not (the AC guys did). We were charged for them fixing kitchen draws that are still not fixed. We were charged an excessive amount of money for a railing that to this day is not properly installed & multiple floor planks damaged that they were supposed to come back & fix/replace (over 4 months ago). Still not taken care of, but we've paid the money. I even have text that will illustrate the dates of when we were last contacted (which was after I reached out 3-4 months after not hearing from anyone). They just took our money, over charged us, and decided not to come back to take care of their unfinished work. This has been an extremely difficult matter for us because we did not do anything to deserve such unfair & discriminatory treatment which is how I personally feel. I've cried multiple times over this matter & can only pray that my review helps at least one family not have to experience this pain. God Blesss!

After firing two other builders for stealing we hired Travis to finish building our house. He did a great job in cleaning up the messes of the other builders and worked in a very professional manner which we desperately needed. Very low key, confident and hard working he cleaned up all the issues and finished the house in a very short period of time. Above all he is a very Christian man. We have now hired him to build another house for us and without him we would never have considered building again.
