My father in law got 3 Bathrooms done by RK remodeling company. We very happy with the result. I’m so happy to have found them.

Scheduling was never correct, did not do the job described, workmen argued with me on what I want. Dissatisfied and disgruntled with the end product, the amount of time and the lack of respect for my home and my private property. Read some of the reviews. not sure who they were working with but it wasn't this business. I would not let them on my property for free work. Rather do it myself!

Rick has worked on several projects in my home over the past 15 years, most recently a master bath remodel. Other projects have included full remodel of kitchen, guest bathroom, and kids bathroom. Very happy with his work. There are cheaper contractors that will work quicker, but the quality of work from Rick and his team is worth the extra expense and time.

Thanks to Houzz, we found RK Remolding & Maintenance LLC. Rick and his team of employees remodeled three of our bathrooms. Rick was easy to communicate with and great to work with. His employees were very professional and conscientious when working on these projects. Our bathrooms turned out absolutely beautiful. If you are considering a kitchen (or any other area) remodel, then let me save you some brain damage in your search for a contractor. Just call Rick Ondich with RK Remodeling (before/after pics attached). Here's why he's the best: 1. Experience: He has been in business for a LONG time- I have been using him for 20 years. He does work for some of the top area interior designers 2. Budget Conscious: He will work within your budget; advise you where your money is best spent, and his bids were the most reasonable of any I have seen. 3. Employees: his staff has been with him for many years – they are efficient, timely and talented. They clean up after they are finished and are extremely careful to protect existing surfaces and belongings. 4. Subcontractors: his subs are the BEST. I was totally impressed with painting, wood floor and electrical contractors. He uses the same subs for every job. 5. Woodworking: Rick is an amazing cabinet maker. He advised me that my existing 25 year old cabinets could be repurposed (versus a VERY expensive proposition of replacing them). He repaired them and built additions. The finished product looks like brand new cabinets and you can not tell that there is a mix of old and new. 6. Last: he lives in the area – I love to do business with people who work where they live. #shoplocal #smallbusiness What he is NOT – he is NOT a Magician . Every remodel project is a PIA – no contractor can prevent that. You need to mentally prepare: * You will be displaced from some area(s) of your house * There will be a LOT of people in/out of your house all day long. You need to adjust your schedule accordingly to be home. * It will be dirty, cluttered, dusty and messy * There will be delays that are outside your control and outside your contractor’s control. COVID has compounded the delays. * You are not the only customer (if you are, that might cause for concern ) so he can't be at your house every minute of every day. * There will be expenses that you likely didn’t count on when you budgeted the remodel * For kitchen remodels, you will be: eating out a lot, using a bathroom or laundry room sink, moving your microwave to a folding table, washing dishes by hand and using paper plates. * Be reasonable in your expectations. You can't spend $5,000 and expect your kitchen to look like a $250,000 kitchen

RK has completed two projects for us in the past two years and we highly recommend them. Rick is a super pro and has a great team of pros that can remodel any room in any way, from a basic remodel to going down to the studs. Rick's attention to quality, detail and cost brings excellent results. As two retired CPAs, we spent 18 months researching and estimating the cost of our home renovation project. We interviewed 7 contractors before we met Rick Ondich. Some gave us a number on a piece of paper with no specifics, some begged and pleaded for our business, some did not even listen to what we requested and left them off the bid and two wanted us to pay as much as $500 for the estimate. We would caution you to beware of those who want to undercut their prices and give you no specifics on their quote. You might end up with shortcuts and inferior materials. You should always receive a detailed schedule of the costs of the renovation. During Rick's initial visit, he took meticulous notes of our conversation and included every item on his quote. He also gave us suggestions of items we had not considered. He impressed us with his professionalism and knowledge. Rick's bid was not the lowest nor highest of the contractors we interviewed but if you want quality work, in our opinion, you could not do better than RK Remodeling. Rick and his team performed a complete renovation of both the master and guest bath, updated our kitchen with new countertops and cabinet doors and replaced almost every floor in our house with tile and/or hardwood floors. We had the pleasure of working with almost everyone on Rick’s team. We definitely appreciated the suggestions of the team. Les did a great job on our tile work, making suggestions to improve the look. Alex is a master craftsman with baseboards. Every one of the team was polite and respectful of our home. All of the RK Remodeling workers who came to our home were Rick’s long-time employees. We felt so at ease with the team that we would leave them at our house to work while we were away. The only subcontractors Rick used were granite fabricators/installers, hardwood installers, glass installers and an electrician for additional work we requested. Rick had informed us of subcontractors he would use when he presented his bid. Everyone one of the subcontractors had high praises for Rick and his team. We are very pleased with the end result of our renovation project and strongly recommend RK Remodeling for your remodeling and renovation projects.

My master bathroom is GORGEOUS thanks to Rick and his team. Les was very meticulous with the tile work, making sure to choose each in an order that made the shower look more seamless. Rick made my new vanity and it is so pretty and very well made. Any time I noticed something that didn't seem right, they had noticed it too and were all great at remedying those concerns. This is the best contractor ever from start to finish. I needed two bathrooms remodeled and I had no idea what I was doing. Rick was very patient with me and answered two pages of questions. He provided me with his insurance certificates and offered to provide references. He gave a detailed estimate in writing within a few days of looking at the job. He showed up to do the job when he said he would. His crew worked all day, every day until the job was done. The gentlemen who worked on my house were polite, considerate and professional. Their craftsmanship and quality of work is hard to find. The glass company I had come in to measure for the shower doors even commented on how perfectly level my showers and floors are. The glass company did NOT know who my contractor was. The glass technician said that usually in an older home like mine, the tile floors and showers are not that perfectly level. He also complimented the quality of the tile work in the showers and how the grout lines were perfectly even. The job came in on time and on budget. I am going to have them remodel another bathroom next spring.

Rick and his crew did an excellent job redoing my master bath, He is skilled in all areas, making him a perfect supervisor for any area of construction. My bathroom turned out to be more than I had expected and I am a perfectionist. I will definitely ask him to continue on other areas of my home.

Rick did a fantastic job! The job was installing a kitchen in a transitional living facility at a homeless shelter. It looks great, and his material recommendations were spot-on for the type of wear and tear the kitchen will go through. He is very professional and friendly. His sub contractors were great too. It is hard to find a good contractor that is timely, communicative, and on-schedule, and RK Remodeling was all of that and more. I will definitely be calling them for future projects.

Rick, the owner, was excellent to deal with in all ways. He is hands on and knows all that is going on regarding the project at all times. He was prompt with his estimate and the cost never varied except when we initiated a change. His crew was always prompt to arrive, always working hard, and very clean and considerate about the areas that they were not working in. We did a bathroom remodel where we removed a whirlpool bath, made a large shower and they built a tall cabinet with shelves and drawers next to the walk in shower. We are very pleased with the finished product as the bathroom is beautiful with new tile, fixtures, cabinet top, walk-in shower and more storage space. We would say that anyone should give this company an opportunity to look at any work you want done and to give you an estimate. We feel confident that you will not go wrong. We hired Rick to redo our kitchen by removing the old cabinets, installing new cabinets, installing a backsplash and reinstalling our sink and a new garbage disposal. He also added new undercounter lighting for us. I can't say enough about Rick's professionalism. Every step of the way, he worked with us to get the kitchen of our dreams. He worked with our cabinet supplier to make sure that we chose the best layout for our kitchen and was always prompt in returning phone calls and arriving on time. He really did a great job with every aspect of the kitchen installation and took care of any small problems immediately. He also helped us out by reinstalling our old cabinets in the garage and laundry room with no extra charge. I would highly recommend his company for any work you might have in mind. Rick and his crew did a master suite, laundry room and office remodel for us. They demo'd to the studs and started from scratch. Every step of the way, Rick kept me apprised of what they had done, what was happening next and how much everything cost. His estimate was right on with no surprises. My wife and I recently moved to Dallas and purchased a high rise condo in Turtle Creek that was in need of significant updating. Upon hiring a great interior design team at Traci Connell Interiors, they recommended using Rick Ondich of R K Remodeling & Maintenance LLC for the remodel. This was a great choice as they were licensed and bonded (a requirement in our building), had great subs, and a team of quality craftsmen. Rick is very knowledgeable and he and his team were responsive, reliable, and the work product is excellent. We are very pleased with our now beautiful new residence and recommend him highly.

Rick's team did several projects related to a remodel of a bedroom into a home office. Replaced French doors with pockets doors, installed crown moulding and other trim work, laid tile in a herringbone pattern, and did some sheetrock retexture and repaint. The workers all showed up promptly, took terrific care of the rest of the home (so there was no collateral damage) and the workmanship and materials were all top quality. Price was competitive. I would absolutely recommend RK Remodel and will certainly call Rick first for future projects.

R K Remodeling has done a great job updating our kitchen, bar, and now our den area. The quality of the work has been excellent, done on schedule, at what we think is a fair price. As a result we plan to have other work done. R K was recomended by our electrician, which I always think is the best way to find good companies.

Rick and his staff did a great job with two bathroom remodels at our house. Both the master and guest bathrooms were given a full remodel. The master was the most challenging, as it required the bath and closet areas of the master to be flipped in layout. This meant Rick's team had to nearly carve out that section of our pier and beam house in order to rebuild the space again from scratch. During the master rebuild, I appreciated Rick's attention to detail and his suggestions to help make the architect/designers' plan better. He helped adjust plumbing locations for best fit, really thought through the placement of convenience features, and corrected underlying structural issues with past construction without our prompting. Rick as project manager was the best builder we've ever had with regard to communication. Whether by text, phone or email, he was always responsive and reached out when a question came up. When I reported construction or finish issues to him, he was quick to work with his team to correct the problem, even in cases where it involved a fair amount of rework. The final product and finish out was excellent. Add-ons we requested during the project were tracked and charged fairly. We are really enjoying the new spaces and feel it was a good value to work with Rick.

RK Remodeling & Maintenance was recommended by our realtor and what a great find. We closed on thursday told Rick ( RK ) on Friday what we wanted and left on vacation Saturday. Boy we were nervous, Rick said I"ll send pics over the phone and we could see the work as he progressed. When we returned we were very very happy, better than expected. We asked for more and he was able to move cabinets from one wall to another attach them to cabinets already there, add the molding, build a counter under them and it came out looking like it was made this way. Complete bathrooms remodel. Master bath replace vanity tops, replace shower enclosure,, new rectangular sinks, and reprint the vanities. In second bath, replace the shower enclosure. In both showers, we installed frameless glass. Of course, mirrors had to be removed and replaced and the plumbing disconnected and reconnected. All workman were timely, considerate, and kept the location meticulously clean at the end of each step of the project. From the initial contact, to the project estimate, and review of references, this has been one of the easiest projects that we have done. Rick O., owner of RK, is a true professional and an excellent craftsman. We would definitely contract any future needs with RK.

We hired R K Remodeling to replace our kitchen backsplash and counter tops. They did a fantastic job. The quality of workmanship and professionalism of Rick's crew's and granite sub contractors met our every expectation. They were prompt, being here when they told me they would. Rick called and told me that the slabs that I had picked out had flaws and Elizabeth knew that I would not be happy with them. She met me and helped me pick out other slabs. If there was a problem we discussed it, as with a window ledge not being square and level. The 2 granite installers, 2 tile installers and Rick were all here to make sure that I would be happy with the way the problem was solved. I have used RK and Remodeling for both my Kitchen and Bath I can tell you I was more than impressed with their work. The Kitchen was a complete remodel where I obtained numerous quotes, talked with different companies and looked at their quality of work. But after talking with Rick, I was confident they knew what I was looking for and the Kitchen turned out way above my expectations. With the bathroom I new I wanted them to do it, but got a few other quotes just for fun and RK and came in again under the other guys, with what I feel is far better quality of work. I tried to find an imperfection on all the tile work in the bathroom, but their isn't one ! RK not only was competitive in pricing but but the quality of their work is what impressed me the most. I have had problems in the past with some contractors cutting corners, being lazy, late, not cleaning up ect. but seriously I did not have any problems with anything. RK also offered different ideas, helped source some materials, and with as picky as I am it was a great help having them balance what I wanted with what I wanted to spend. When people come over and see the Kitchen and Bath you can see the look on their face, and then ask "WOW" who did you get to do this !

Rick Ondich is awesome. He has done several projects for me, the most recent is the painting of my living room. It was the very dated 80's wood, that was the big thing back then. He just finished up today and the change is amazing. It went from a very dark and dated room to a bright and classic look that will last a very long time. He also came into a master bathroom project, where an extremely bad contractor had started a job and made a mess of plumbing and every other thing he touched and Rick had to basically tear out everything that was done and start over. I have the most beautiful master bath now and couldn't be happier. I am going to remodel my kitchen in the next year and I wouldn't use anyone else.
