RHAD is the prime architect for our cohousing community, the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada. We are thrilled with the home that RHAD designed for us on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Rayleen incorporated the key features we were looking for in a summer home, took inspiration from her first site visit, and designed us a truly unique and special home. Rayleen's attention to detail and use of thoughtful design features brought something special to each room of the house, as well as more outdoor spaces than we could have imagined. Rayleen Hill and her team not only conceived of an amazing project for a local spa business, but they were a pleasure to collaborate with when it came to dealing with the fine details.

I hired RHAD Architects to design our new kitchen. I chose them because I was a huge fan of the beautiful work they did at a popular wellness spa in the city. I wanted something distinctive, something outside the box, but not something so different that it didn't feel comfortable. My kitchen is the crown jewel of our house. RHAD took our wish list and turned it in to something we could never have imagined. Functional, unique and truly stunning, it definitely has the drama I wanted - but not with the price tag; it cost a fraction of what everyone thinks. A few years later my husband hired them to design a set of townhouses. Again, they went over and above. The townhouses fit seamlessly with the traditional/historic vibe of the street, with a subtle modern twist which offers a hint of what's inside. The interior design is clean and modern, and clever use of space at every turn. Because these are rental properties, we needed them to be highly desirable to prospective tenants (upper middle class empty nesters) but not break the bank. RHAD Architects pulled it off, and then some. I look forward to our next collaboration!
