What does Design a la Carte mean? What can we do for you? It means you get exactly what you want and need, no more no less. Just as ordering in a restaurant, a la carte can be less expensive than ordering straight off the menu. Pick and choose what works for your family and lifestyle. Many clients can do some of the work themselves saving money, or if time is more important we can do everything including bringing all the samples directly to your home. Many projects can be done in stages, starting with the most important and working thru the list when time and money allow. Our ultimate goal is to provide you with a space that calls you home because you love it! It should function and flow as well as be comfortable, enhance your quality of life and bring you many years of enjoyment. We focus on design for our client’s desires, needs and budgets. It is important to get thru the process of remodeling, building or renovation with humor, attention to detail and a thrilling ending to the project.

Our experience with Design a la Carte and designer Pam was nothing short of amazing. We are so happy with the final results. Making the change from the drab contractor browns to the beautiful blue hues has transformed our bathroom into a peaceful relaxing spa. She demonstrated her experience and knowledge throughout the whole process. To taking every phone call (there were many), always being available to help us choose product and colors and reassuring us in our choices. Working with Pam was without a doubt the best decision we made.

Working with Pam on our kitchen reno was an absolute delight! She gave us advice, wonderful ideas and counsel—encouraging and expanding upon our vision while holding firm and gently pushing back when needed. My spouse and I had very different design ideas, but Pam miraculously was able to weave them together into a kitchen we both love, that updates yet complements its 1910 origins, and our family will enjoy for years to come.

Pam was a pleasure to work with! She brings fresh ideas and a wonderful energy to her work. It's obvious that she enjoys what she is doing. Pam was easily reached and responded to my numerous inquiries quickly. Design A la Carte, Pam, helped my husband and me with our move to a new condo as we downsized after retiring from the workforce and our children were all scattered about. We had a blank slate with which to work as we moved into a condo with no furniture from our previous home. We needed guidance through the process of establishing a scheme as we selected new pieces for our home. We pulled the living space together with relative ease, but are sure it would have been months without her guidance. She led us through the design process for the kitchen remodel and was extremely helpful throughout the remodel. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing interior design assistance or remodel work and I have already done so.

I was introduced to Pam though her participation the Denver Historical Society's contractor list to work on a kitchen remodel in our 1928 bungalow style home. She is an absolute delight to work with! She identified immediately with our desire to keep a retro feel to the room and has guided us in design considerations as well as pointing us to great purchase sources for products, appliances, and installation contractors. I view her as our project manager who brings a wealth of hands on experience wrapped in a superb sense of style and customer sensitivity. I recommend her highly and with reservation!

She quickly attuned to my needs and preferences in terms of style, but she also came up with thoughts and ideas I would never have thought of on my own. She was accessible, approachable, and generous with her time. She took a hands-on approach when I needed it, but also gave me plenty of space to try different things. Oh – and in addition to her interior design services, she connected me with a wealth of trusted resources that made my remodel so much easier! Pam was a great resource for redoing our kitchen, and she was great for us in particular. That's because we wanted to do our kitchen step-by-step, and Pam gave us whatever guidance we needed when we needed it. She has really great supply and services contacts and not only did we get excellent hardware and appliances from them, but we saved a lot of money due to the discounts she could offer us. Pam was also critical in helping us choose our countertop granite, which ended up being a huge plus for our project.

Design a la Carte offered the services I was looking for in my master bath remodel project. Having stalled on my vision numerous times, I contacted Pam to help me through the selections of tile, color, and cabinet/design. Pam listened and guided me through, finding the right tile combinations to match my taste and style. Her design expertise and encouragement made this experience less daunting and much more exciting. Once I was over the hurdle of finding the tile and cabinets, I was ready to go out on my own. Pam has numerous contacts in the design industry that I used to find fixtures, lighting, shower doors, etc. During the remodel, we were faced with several setbacks. Pam helped us work through them finding solutions. Pam’s optimism and positive outlook helped us during these times! We now have the bathroom we envisioned. Thank you Pam!
