About Us

The Cypress Group Limited takes a unique approach to home remodeling and construction - We treat your home as if it were our own. Our hearts are invested in each and every project. To us, it's personal. We feel a deep commitment to our clients, and that commitment remains even after the project is complete. Michael Labesky, President of The Cypress Group Limited, grew up just outside of Baltimore, MD. After graduating from Northern Arizona University in 1996, he moved to Breckenridge, Colorado and enjoyed ten years building custom homes in the high-country. After he and his wife welcomed their second child, they decided to return to Michael's roots and moved back to Maryland to be close to family. In 2007, The Cypress Group Limited was born, with the mission to bring high quality craftsmanship, integrity and total commitment to client satisfaction. We have an historic home & needed a new roof on the hyphen section, between the front & rear structures. We were so fortunate that Michael, the owner of CGL, could oversee the roofing contractor, while his team performed restoration to the soffit & fascia, window replacement. & copper flashing work. Attention to detail is their specialty. Job was completed promptly & with strict daily cleanup. Highly recommend their services.

The Cypress group has done numerous jobs for us.The work is exceptional and artistic. Mike is very professional and very knowledgable. What he doesn't know he researches. Mike and his staff are completely trustworthy. He always leaves the site cleaner than when he started. I am completely satisfied with them and would never consider hiring anyone else for any job on our home.

The Cypress Group has been my go to source for home maintenance for the past 7 years or so for a myriad of problem the builder of my home left me with. Their more knowledgeable and professional than anyone I've dealt with in 30 plus years of homeownership. They provide a quality service at a reasonable price and the have my highest endorsement and recommendation. If you have a project you want done right, their the source to go to!

Mike and his crew are fantastic! It's a pleasure working with someone who can turn your vision into a reality. And when you're not quite sure on some of the details of your vision, Mike will walk you through your options and guide you to what works best. This wasn't our first renovation project with Cypress Group - and it certainly won't be our last!

The Cypress Group put up a stoop on the front of our house, installed new floors in our kitchen and living/dining room, and installed new exterior doors. Excellent work! Perfection!
