About Us

Creating the finest in Decorative wall and furniture finishes. Pencil always in hand, there was never a question that Kassandra would choose a creative career. After attending the prestigious School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Kassandra worked as a custom jewelry designer for high-end stores in Colorado. Her high demand led her to freelance work, where Kassandra was contracted for various projects from jewelry designs to graphic designing. Wanting to focus her talent, Kassandra started The Iron Petunia Design Company where she can now create in the areas she loves.

Kassandra and her work is outstanding and I won't use anyone else. She has an eye for detail and brings your home or project to life. She has done many rooms for us, to include 2 homes, plus several other projects. If you choose Iron Petunia you will be in great hands and you won't be disappointed.

I have worked with The Iron Petunia Design for many years. I have never worked with someone who can work in so many directions and will produce amazing results. I am a client who is Out of the Box with ideas and she is always coming up with new materials to produce the ending results I want. She is a perfectionist and will not finish the job until it is exactly what you want. She is so amazing with what she will come up with in a room if you need some guidance. I HIGHLY recommended the Iron Petunia!!!

I worked with Kassandra on a bathroom project. I found her to be knowledgeable, artistic, talented and open for feedback when working together. Several years later, after some remodeling, she returned and marched my Venetian plaster perfectly.

Kassandra is amazing! We have had her do 5 of our rooms in two different homes. She is a true artist and can make your vision for any room come to fruition. She works fast and never leaves a mess. Her prices are more affordable than most designers but the quality of art is not compromised. Highly recommend her and the Iron Petunia.

Kassandra helped me refinish our 20 year old kitchen cabinets and did a BEAUTIFUL job. She worked cleanly and efficiently, while not skipping steps or overlooking details. Kassandra is trustworthy, honest, and exceptionally talented; I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I have worked with Iron Petunia for years. They have done multiple projects in 2 of houses from transforming a fireplace surround to cabinet re-do. As well, multiple whole room painting projects...faux, stencil and murals. I cannot say enough good things about Iron Petunia. The attention to detail, along with the professionalism is above and beyond.

Kassandra has done work for my office building and in our home. She has done different types of faux painting in different rooms. She is one of the most talented individuals I have ever met. Her attention to detail and to what our vision was for each room surpassed all of our expectations. I would recommend her for any specialty paint job you have.
