We wanted a fairly large live edge shelving unit that we could not find anywhere online or in stores. Luke was super helpful throughout the entire process from concept, design, build and delivery/installation. The shelving unit looks amazing, was exactly what we envisioned and very well crafted. We loved it so much we asked them to help us out with another smaller shelf project for our home. We would definitely recommend them for any wood/steel projects big or small for both home and business. They were very timely in delivery date, much faster than we would have expected for custom made furniture!

We hired Luke Dubbeldam of Iron & Wood to design and build a unique furniture piece for our home. Luke had a great sense of design and was able to put our ideas into a stunning room divider. We wanted something that was both aesthetic and functional for our front entrance. It looks amazing in our home and we have endless compliments on the piece. An excellent family run business. Luke and Peter made me feel like I was a priority even though my job was relatively small. As an interior designer I often need custom and unique pieces for my projects. Luke from Iron & Wood built a beautiful custom wood wine rack for my clients. He took the time to meet with me at his shop and on site to go over the design and finishes. The wine rack looks beautiful, even better than I had imagined! We have commissioned Byldan Woodworks for 2 projects so far. A mantle for our fireplace and a desk for our office. Both are EXACTLY what we had in mind. The mantle is made of Black Poplar- keeping the bark & lichen as we wanted it to blend into the stone face when viewed head on and is very unique. The desk is made from a huge slab of Fir and has a live edge. It always gets very positive comments from visitors. Throughout both of these projects, the vendor kept in contact with us via email with questions on our preferences & progress photos. We highly recommend them, and will be contacting them soon as we have another project for them.
